The property

The Old Post Office is now an attractive holiday home located in the pretty moorland village of Cornwood.

Enveloped by the Dartmoor National Park and with local attractions in driving distance, this lovely cottage is ideal for a couple seeking some quality time together.

The all-white exterior with grey framed windows and exposed stone, compliments a country-style interior.

Step in through the kitchen, with your own private entrance, to find a minimalist design with contemporary coloured units and quality fixtures to ease you through your stay.

Next the living room makes a cosy spot for cuddles and late-night chats in front of the woodburning stove.

The double bedroom upstairs is uplifted by wooden beams and Velux window bringing in the light.

This quaint little village plays host to a pub, a shop and a church on the southern South Hams edge of Dartmoor, with day trips in abundance.

Dartmoor Zoo is just a mile away, and there is an indoor swimming pool at nearby Ivybridge.

Plymouth can be easily reached by car offering a wide selection of shops, restaurants and bars.

Wander through narrow streets and down to the Barbican quayside, where the city's maritime history begins.

You can visit the gin distillery, and even watch a show at the Theatre Royal.

For a great day out why not take a day trip to Mothecombe beach which is only a 20 minute drive away.

The beautiful South Devon coast offers pretty towns and villages to be explored and Dartmoor offers walking and cycling.

With so much to see and do in the local area, you won't be able to resist a country break in The Old Post Office.
