“We loved the location however there were a few things that disappointed us about the cottage : 1/ The insistence by the owner of using only eco friendly cleaning products was a challenge as very little was supplied .”

    ...

East Devon s rigorous recycling scheme meant we needed lots of different bags - very few were supplied . 2/ In a global pandemic we were disturbed at throws on the sofas - were these cleaned weekly ? 3/ I found a used mans handkerchief in a drawer which again in the current climate was not pleasant. 4 / Too many notes from the owner about what we could and could not do was disconcerting and we couldn’t control the thermostat. 5/ The week before we had been to a property run by Holiday Property Bond and the difference between the two properties in terms of cleanliness was marked . 6/ No hairdryer which is unusual

Thank you for the feedback which we take on board and we are pleased to hear you enjoyed visiting the area. Courshay Springs changeovers are managed by an excellent and very professional cleaner with long experience. The thermostat is set to prevent it being switched up exceptionally high, which affects the beams and woodwork of the house, especially in the old part. Hairdryers aren't included as an compulsory item in our holiday properties but guests can enquire about the availability such items before their holiday, if required. - Sykes owner relations
