“This was our third stay at a property in Dart Marina and the best so far.”

The property was ideal for my wife who is in a wheel-chair especially the panoramic views. The staff at Coastal and Country were cheerful and very helpful and I would recommend Coastal and Country to other visitors. We will certainly be returning.

“Apartment and view from lounge stunning.”

As Dartmouth was very busy we decided to eat-in in the evenings which was no hardship. Would definitely recommend for a treat and would be great to share with friends or family as apartment was larger than expected. We will be back !!

“Beautifully clean apartment with stunning views of the River Dart from several rooms.”

The apartment was larger than we expected which was good and the beds and linen were amazing, so comfortable! Only negative was that we had been told that it included toiletries and there were none - a mistake the staff acknowledged on the listing and they came out specially to provide some for us. The apartment was amazingly clean and quite minimal, only point here to note was that there was only one toilet roll in each bathroom and there were no containers to put toothbrushes in - quite odd! We will definitely go back though - for the view and the beds xx

“The apartment was as lovely as usual - this was our seventh visit.”

We do however have some minor criticisms. The crockery is on the sparse side - for example there are not enough bowls for say soup and a pudding without washing up. It would be helpful to have some containers to store food in the frig and a mixing bowl. The glass door of the shower in the bathroom needs a rubber stopper to stop it banging. A small washing up basin would be good in the kitchen and the provision of some toilet cleaner in the bathroom. These are minor items but as the owners of a holiday cottage ourselves we expect a far more up market property to match what we normally provide! In the end we had a great holiday and hope to come to Dart Marina again -we have happy memories of our times there.

“A beautiful 5 star appartment.”

The view from the balcony set us up for the day every morning- especially when we had a seal appear just under the balcony in the water. The appartment is modern and very practical, with attention to detail. The beds were extremely comfortable and big which made for a very restful night. We used the spa facilities everyday which was a lovely extra to have. Being able to walk into town was brilliant and the location of the appartments meant it was quiet. We will definitely be coming back to Dartmouth next year and we can't wait :)

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town.
