"Have stayed in this apartment before so know the location etc."
Overall there was a "tired" feel to the flat. Broken window not been fixed,no up to date information/brochures (2017). Poor range of kitchen utensils,no microwave cooking equipment. Should be 5 star at the price ,more like 3+ .
"Unfortunately the right hand side of the patio style windows didn’t work and bluebottles were emerging from the decorative stones in large numbers daily."
We saw that others had these problems over a year ago and they have not been dealt with. It is a lovely flat but these issues really spoilt our stay.
"Draughty bifold doors - they need replacing and obviously have done for some time."
We having been renting these apartments for many years and now feel they have become too expensive out of season, particularly now there is no spa to use.
"Great apartment Incredible view."
Extremely modern Lots of little quirky features that make the apartment “pop”. Would definitely recommend
"The broken bi-fold window/door did affect our stay, some days it was so hot we needed it open."
We will not consider returning to this apartment until this is fixed. Tap in family bathroom constantly running, waste of water. Light bulbs in on-suite and hall need replacing. Hand shower in on-suite bath leaks badly. Curtains in family bedroom need re-hooking. No instruction manual for the oven. Superb location and lovely apartment let down by the few annoying faults.
"Great position in Dartmouth overlooking the river, well equipped."
C&C helpful as usual.
Thank you so much for leaving your lovely feedback. We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay at 32 Dart Marina and that we could be of service to you. We hope to welcome you back to the area in the near future. Property Owner
"Really enjoyed apartment, our second year"
"We booked several months before the arrival date."
On arrival we found serious work being carried out in the apartment above. Started 2 weeks before for 2 months duration. Builders confirmed that all had also been notified previously. You failed to warn us and provide options ahead of our arrival. You found us an alternative appartment but the start of our holiday was totally wrecked by your lack of accountability in either your old or new organisation. We had the displeasure of talking to someone in your Chester call centre miles from Dartmouth with no sense of local ownership. All accompanied by the dreadful experience of dealing with call centre ‘DPA’ processes instead of calling a local office who knew exactly who we were. Coast and country is no more. It’s just another faceless organisation like all the others. Not what you want on holiday ... in Devon..
Many thanks for your feedback, we have fed your comments back to the owner in order to maintain our property standards. Your views are as valued, as your initial booking so that we can keep providing the best UK holiday experience. Your points will also be reviewed to ensure that our service is second to none. I can see you were offered a new property and a £50 voucher to use with us in the future. If you feel that you'd like to discuss your points further, please don't hesitate to call on the details below. Our lines are open 7 days a week from 9am until 7pm. Property Owner
"An fantastic apartment with stunning views and very well presented."
Very well appointed although the entertainment system is far too complicated. We would definately stay here again.
"Everything in the apartment was Top class, lovely and clean and very comfortable."
"A clean and very well equipped luxury apartment with fantastic views."
"Great flat - Just a bit too high tec for us"
"Beautifully appointed apartment with fantastic views."
Very spacious, spotlessly clean and totally luxurious. We loved it!
"32 Dart Marina is a lovely apartment with great views of the River Dart."
It was spotlessly clean and had some lovely contemporary design touches, including well designed lounge and dining furniture, designer crockery and good quality cutlery. It was really good to see that the owners have a contemporary style that matched our taste which is quite unusual overall in other self catering properties we have stayed in. However, there are some things that did not work as well - it looks like the owners are gadget oriented and even though we followed the laminated instructions in respect of the TV set up, we could not get any sound from the TV until the Coast and Country rep came to have a look at the complicated set up two days into our holiday. We also had some problems with the central heating and hot water. We had to contact the Coast & Country team a couple of times in this respect - as mentioned above, the team were very helpful and did resolve the issues after a further visit to the apartment. We were also surprised that there were no non-slip mats in either of the bathrooms which we feel are essential as it is so easy to slip and fall. The beds in the smaller of the two bedrooms were extremely soft - not sure if this was the design of the bed or whether they need to be replaced, but they were not very comfortable. Overall, once the gadget/central heating/hot water problems were resolved, it made the stay much better. However, because the beds were so uncomfortable, we would probably only stay in this apartment again if they were replaced.
"An excellent place to stay."
We could just sit and look at the view if the weather was bad and be very contented. The best holiday 'home' we have ever stayed in!
"Exactly as described, very high quality and excellent condition - could not be faulted."
Perfect position and amazing views. Well equipped (with the exception of oven gloves!)
"Beautiful apartment, very well maintained and absolutely spotless!"
"Very high quality accommodation, great position on the river, with lovely views."
"Not sure how non techies would get on, it took us a while!"

About the location
Totnes 12 miles.
Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth. A relaxing location in South Devon.
