  • "Fantastic views and a comfy house (the master bed was one of the comfiest we’ve ever slept in) that only needs some updating as far as the kitchen and garden areas to make it 5* - I would consider the fencing at the front a liability in it’s present condition."

    The best views are to be had from the master bedroom and therefore a chair and side table would be a good addition - I moved a garden chair up there for the visit, opened up the sash windows and feet out the window enjoyed just watching the river.

    Thank you so much for your lovely feedback I’m so please you enjoyed your stay . We have booked in a date for new glass balustrades very soon. I’m sure this will improve the views and really enhance the garden area. I hope you will return soon. Many thanks Carmen Property Owner

  • "Pros..comfy beds"

    ..lovely views from the house, and central position. Cons: lack of basics such as, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, rubbish to go in black bags but none provided. Sofa and chair both very saggy and uncomfortable without additional cushions. The front garden fencing etc needs attention in line with all neighbouring properties. All things considered, we would stay here again.

  • "The +++s Amazing propety , amazing views ."

    The bed was so comfy . The bathroom was perfect, apart from you couldnt open the window was stuck down with paint ?????. The negatives - - - The back courtyard very very poor rubble everywhere dirty ( like a builers yard) a random pice of drain pipe a random spade a random brush. The shower room was covered in all dust !!!!!!. we had to give it a really good sweep . It really wasn't nice to sit out there at all .( not good). The rubbish bin outside stank disgusting. I reported this on the 2nd day obviously had no reply regarding the courtyard !!!!!!!!!. The front of the property had ample seating, could have done with a bit of TLC of the plants were all dead . The wood railings were not secure at all ( very very dangerous ) The windows were all covered in bird pooh , upstairs downstairs . My husband cleaned the lounge ones . FIRST impressions always count. The iron was all burnt. The latch on the front gate what latch ???. Essp when you have a little doggy that likes to escape. Beautiful weather we had which was lovely. I have pictures of all the above comments .

    Many thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are thrilled you loved the property. We can only apologise that you came across a few issues during your stay. The outside area at the back of the property is not advertised on the website as it is not meant as a seating area and more for bin storage, we will of course pass your comments onto the owner. We are pleased you enjoyed sitting at the front of the property and taking that amazing view. We are sorry you had to clean the windows, these are regularly cleaned, however due to the nature of a seaside town, this can happen. We do hope you had a lovely holiday and enjoyed all Dartmouth has to offer. Property Owner

About the location

DARTMOUTH

Totnes 12 miles.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth. A relaxing location in South Devon.
