  • "Everything about the property was lovely , from the comfortable furnishings to the well equipped kitchen where there was everything you need ."

    The beds were very comfortable , and there was plenty of wardrobe space . The bathroom was great with a shower that was spacious and worked brilliantly . The property was situated in a lovely position with wonderful views , very restful.

  • "Lovely lush fully equipped lodge,better than expected owners Sue John Abi made us feel really welcomed it was a really nice touch with the welcome pack with the milk cake,scones jam and clotted cream etc etc nothing was a problem."

    Lodge was close to supermarkets and Dartmouth harbour was up to 10 minutes away some car parking is card payment or phone app but the park and ride make sure you have £10 in £1 coins as the app took a while to load and you could miss the bus but Dartmouth buses were regular not like other areas well worth the visit and seeing the sunset as this lodge had a lovely scenery view and lovely quiet the caravans wasn’t a problem as they park them down the side further down from lodge.we look forward to coming again but maybe stay longer as we did a week and loved to explore further

  • "Buttercup Lodge is a gem!"

    Comfortable, we'll equipped, gorgeous views and a lovely atmosphere about it. We watched the summer solstice sun set from the balcony, and would sit there in the evenings, there were hares running along the grass and the wildflower beds are beautiful, I would recommend Buttercup lodge 100%

  • "Our family Christmas get away was delightful, this lodge was exceptional."

    It felt so inviting and was such a comfortable stay, so spacious inside and well equipped. Owners are very friendly, they make you feel very welcome with hamper on arrival and fresh flowers. The views are amazing just looking out at the countryside, all the space around the lodge is well thought out and really well kept. Also, providing you with an enclosed area for dogs to enjoy themselves is such a bonus. I can’t wait to return again in the summer to make use of the outside patio area. Don’t think anyone will be disappointed when booking this lodge highly recommend.

  • "We had a fabulous stay at Buttercup Lodge."

    We loved it from the moment we arrived. It was in an amazing position and was lovely and clean. The site was really well looked after and also had a dog recreation area great for us. The welcome pack was great too and cream tea very welcome. The owners were so helpful. Great base for getting out and about in the area. Furniture and beds very comfortable too and views amazing.

  • "Beautiful lodge set in Beautiful surroundings first impressions were how new clean and tidy everything was and the views are outstanding."

    Also a lovely welcome a hamper with biscuits scones jam clotted cream and a bottle of wine a very nice touch. Lovely seeing the horses in the fields every morning I can only imagine how lovely it will be on a summers day. Bed was comfy shower hot and walk in wardrobe with full length mirror was great. Kitchen was well stock with pots and pans and every utensil you would need. Down side was no coasters to put cups or glasses on I felt bad putting them straight on the coffee table also maybe some cushions on the settee because this was a little uncomfortable on your back the seat area is so wide , but these are minor things. We all had a fantastic time staying at the lodge and would certainly visit again.

Lower Norton Lodges

Lower Norton Lodges consist of four, stylish dwellings, all encompassed by breath-taking, countryside views, resting in the Devonshire village of Norton. All complete with private and enclosed decked areas, designed with alfresco dining in mind, well-equipped, open-plan living spaces, and convenient off-road parking, the collection offers a wonderful base to call home whilst touring the county, together accommodating up to sixteen guests. If you can tear yourself away from this rural haven, a hub of amenities can be found in nearby Dartmouth, including a selection of shops, eateries and pubs, with popular options including Rockfish, Bushell's Riverside, and The Royal Castle, all enjoying harbour-side views. Take advantage of your proximity to the coast by following the Southwest coastal path around to Sugary Cove Beach, where you’ll also locate the imposing structure of Dartmouth Castle, whilst outdoor enthusiasts will relish in a hike through the National Trust owned Little Dartmouth Nature Reserve. Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town.
