  • "A wonderful stay - thank you."

The very spacious and well equipped house was perfect for 3 generations of our family and the generous welcome hamper was a lovely surprise. We loved our stay in beautiful and quiet surroundings - all within easy reach of Dartmouth and the many beaches along the coast.

  • "Lower Norton Farmhouse is a wonderful house, it has acres of indoor & outdoor space and is equipped with pretty much everything you need."

It is situated in a beautiful location with great views and plenty of wildlife; I recommend the walk down the lane to Dittisham along the estuary. The Farmhouse is down a gravel lane which is very manageable as long as you go steady. It is worth noting that taxis won't come down the lane so you need to walk to the top to be collected. ( we had my 82 yr old mother in law with us and it was not walk-able for her at least ) The owner Sue couldn't have been more helpful and generous; the welcome basket full of Devon goodies and the birthday cake and champagne added a special touch to kick off our birthday celebrations. It was a wonderful week and we were blessed with perfect weather. I would strongly recommend this house as a holiday rental! Andy

Stunning kitchen and great facilities. Although it's a large house it has underfloor heating and always felt warm and cosy. Great views and nice and close to supermarkets and Dartmouth Would highly recommend to anyone.

  • "This was a stunning property both inside and out and we had a wonderful holiday here."

The house is beautiful and has everything you could possibly want for a great holiday. Yes, the road down in unmade and a little bumpy in places but both our Toyota Prius and tiny Aygo made it up and down with no problem - you just have to go slowly in places (and be prepared to back up if something is coming the other way!). The decking in the morning for coffee and breakfast was a highlight of my week, and I'd happily go back for that view alone! The house is well situated with lots to do within a reasonable drive. We hope to come back one day.

  • "Outstanding house."

Facilities are finished to a high end. The owners resolved the small issues we had speedily and were so welcoming and friendly. As 3 families of 6 adults and 3 kids we had so much space. Couldn’t recommend enough. More of a drive to the nearest pub but we do have small kids. Lots of things to do nearby too.

  • "This home is just stunning."

Absolutely loved everything about it. Beautiful large living rooms, conservatory, Tv's in most rooms, stunning extremely well equipped kitchen, modern bathrooms. Comfy beds, gorgeous views, gorgeous gardens all set in a stunning quiet rural setting just minutes from shops and Dartmouth. It was worth every penny. Note; the driveway is long, steep and basically a dirt track. Our 4x4 was okay but the second car struggled in the pot holes, but drive slowly and you'll be fine.

  • "We had an absolutely lovely week at Lower Norton farmhouse."

It is a stunning place, so quiet and peaceful in the middle of the countryside with gorgeous views across the valley but within easy reach of Dartmouth. We found everything we needed to do a lot of cooking and the cake that greeted us was such a nice touch. It was our first holiday as a family with our four month old and it was just perfect.

It’s just outside Dartmouth which is very picturesque and there are loads of great places to visit. Sue was a fantastic host with great communication. We had an amazing week.
