The cottage is very comfortable (although you have to mind your head) and oldie worldly but comfortable with a bath and a lovely shower.

We ended up spending several hours and a lot of money in the local launderette drying our washing. Other than this the holiday was lovely

All that was needed was on the doorstep in Dartmouth. The double glazing kept any noise out. Lovely little kitchen. Very quaint, obviously quite a bit of history to the building. Parking was no problem, being out of season, only a 1 minute walk away around the corner. Very central for good days out.

A little tray of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits was a thoughtful touch and gratefully received after a 6 hour journey. Positioned in the heart of Dartmouth made it a fab base in this scenic town of quaint little backstreets of pastel coloured cottages, a super, little market in the square and a town full of unique shops for all tastes. We had a genuinely relaxing week and the good weather was a bonus. Definitely recommend!

Lots of useful information provided in the house about activities and use of facilities. Great directions and very easy to get keys. No outside space which I hadn’t realised before we went and the lounge area was small and uncomfortable.

However the sun was shining so we didn’t have to spend a lot of time on them. The benches at the river side were more pleasant to sit on. Loved the character of the cottage, not a level floor or square room, excellent position in town.

Dartmouth View Cottages

A group of four rustic, vintage cottages set in an elevated position on neighbouring streets overlooking the stunning town of Dartmouth. Two of the terraced cottages sit on Broadstone, whilst the other two are on Clarence Hill just around the corner. They range from being all ground floor to set over three floors, some of the Dartmouth View Cottages are dressed with characterful wooden beams and fantastic stone feature walls. They all have alluring sitting rooms and well-appointed kitchen dining rooms to enjoy your home-cooked meals in. They offer WIFI and accept dogs, as well as the availability of a cot and highchair should you require them. The electric storage heaters, traditional low doors and steep, narrow stairways give these cottages a real sense of character and charm. The bedrooms are quaint and cosy, with the ones upstairs being under the eaves and accompanied by delightful views over the town. The centre of Dartmouth comes a short walk down the hill, the charming town provides a good variety of shops, restaurants and pubs for you to choose from. There is also a museum, art galleries and you can even hire a boat to ride around the harbour on the clear days. The Dartmoor National Park comes within easy reach and is the perfect spot for you outdoor enthusiasts with its walking and cycling opportunities and incredible scenery. The market town of Totnes is also a short drive away, offering charming buildings, a castle and excellent shopping. This group of four quaint cottages are perfect for friends, couples and families to come away and make the most of this great area of the South West of England.
