lovely place to and with easy walk to the town centre parking ok but was a little worried about the parking especially if you had a large viechle.

“Was an amazing house with all we needed.”

Just one thing is it was very hot and they were winter duvets on the beds, could have done with a couple of fans in the rooms. Also the neighbours smoked so it was awful having the windows open.

The only downside we would like to point out are the number of stairs once you are inside the property which the website omitted to mention. This did not trouble us but just a warning to others who may stay there.

“We had a great time in Dartmouth and thought R+R was perfect for our needs.”

Very close to the Dartmouth centre. Parking, while not immediately outside the front door, was only a second away. We were easily able though to park-up and unload. Decor was cool, felt clean and airy, great 5 burner cooker. Couldn't get the stereo to work as it doesn't have Bluetooth, but apart from that, it was very comfortable. Picked up the keys from the hire-cottage office which was fine, but a key code for the door could easily be installed. The cream, scone and jam on arrival was a nice touch.

“Thank you for providing such a lovely home from home accommodation.”

As the reason for booking this week was to go to the music festival the house could not have been in a better place. We were able to walk into town and as there was a car parking space provided with the property this gave us peace of mind. My only comment is with regard to the washbasin in the bathroom. It was way too high, above the standard height recommended. At just 5'2" I found it very inconvenient and how children manage is beyond me. Admittedly there were some steps provided but still not ideal. The only thing missing was a full size frying pan, but otherwise everything we required for a self catering holiday was available. Thank you.

“Interesting 3 storey property.”

There were a number of steps up before you get to the front door. Then comfortable lounge and well equipped kitchen. Nice touch was scones and cream. No back garden, just a sheer cliff face. Bedroom on first floor. Bathroom on mezzanine floor and second bedroom up again. On the whole, the property worked for us although may not work for everyone. Not for the really old or disabled. Parking was a slight pain being away from the house although you could unload outside if quick. Couldn't believe the way the town has evolved. Built in a valley with sheer cliff either side but that didn't stop the town from growing. The waterfront was lovely with many hours spent beside it, but don't forget to venture out. So much to see. Slapton Sands and Salcombe (even Plymouth) to the West. Brixham, Paignton and Torquey across the ferry to the East. Don't miss Dartington, Cockington or Babbacombe Model Village. Buckfastliegh Abbey is also worth a visit as is the steam train nearby. Altogether, a great short break with plenty to see and do.

“Lovely house, very clean and nicely decorated.”

Our stay was only for four days and it had turned cold so it was a shame the heating didn't work first night (spent quite a lot of time trying to sort it out) and then an engineer at property for quite a while the following afternoon but these things happen. Could do with some instructions re heating left out ( explaining 2 different types, underfloor in kitchen and bathroom and rest radiator with different controls) and for the tv/freeview/DVD (couldn't manage to get dvd to work with tv). Cream tea and wine on arrival lovely touch and would definitely consider staying at same property again.

“We would definitely come back to R & R.”

We were all very pleased to return to the house after a day exploring and had plenty of room to relax. The house has been beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The house is very spacious, the hallway being very useful for our many coats and shoes and the beds were extremely comfortable.

“This Victorian house is located on Victoria Road, a short walk down the street brings you to mini markets, coffee shops, the Dartmouth market and then onto the main streets.”

The home has been completely modernised with a fantastic kitchen and bathroom and the space is well designed. Everything felt fresh and clean. Freddie our 12 year old Lab enjoyed her stay too and didn't complain too much about the stairs! We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

“Stayed at R&R before and it was excellent last time and this.”

Particularly nice bathroom and kitchen Walking distance to town, a bit steep uphill! Only minor grumble - top bedroom door was sticking last year - needs a trim off the bottom - and is still sticking!

“The house was great.”

It was well laid out and well equipped. The only thing that let it down slightly was the level of cleanliness on arrival. The vacuum cleaner was left full of dirt and the mop had been left damp, dirty and smelly in the cupboard . A call to Coast and Country had this rectified straight away and a replacement mop was provided.

A charming three-storey terrace house, within five-minutes’ walking distance of Dartmouth’s famous waterfront, restaurants and shops. This centrally located property is well-equipped with homely furniture and spacious rooms. With 2 bedrooms, this is an ideal property for families and couples.

On entrance to the cottage is a ground floor lobby which leads through to stylishly furnished open-plan living and dining room.

A three-seater leather sofa with a leg extension is perfect for relaxing on after a busy day exploring the local area, or you can choose to rest on the single leather armchair.

The room contains a large flat screen TV with Freeview and a DVD player. Along the wooden floor find the dining area with a pine table and seating for up to 6 people.

Next to the table is an oak sideboard, useful for storing away games and other belongings. The modern kitchen is fitted with all the essential units needed for cooking up a treat.

This includes a 5-ring gas burner and 2 ovens, a dishwasher, washing machine, a freestanding fridge/freezer and microwave.

A door leads to the rear yard with access pathway to neighbouring properties.

On the first floor is a great sized twin room with 2 leather framed single beds.

Matching pine bedside tables, drawers and a wardrobe as well as a leather chair and storage chest, make up this homely room. Along the corridor is a fully tiled family bathroom with a bath, separate walk-in shower heated towel rail, wash-hand basin and WC.

The room also has under-floor heating, perfect for those chilly winter days.

The second floor contains the main double bedroom with a super-king size bed.

The room has a bedside drawer, dressing table and sun lounger.

Sliding doors lead out to a small balcony with views over neighbouring gardens.

All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels are provided. The property is located right in the heart of Dartmouth on Victoria Road, which directly leads to the town centre and all of its attractions.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes.
