• "A sparklingly clean and comfortable apartment with everything you could need for a self catering holiday."

  It is very quiet yet minutes away from the shops, eateries and harbour. We were made to feel so welcome by Tracey, the owner, who was easily contactable and helpful. I would certainly recommend.

• "The Apartment is immaculate , nothing is left to chance."

  It's also close to all the amenities which is handy for restaurants and pubs. The parking permit is a necessity as parking is a Dartmouth problem.

• "A fabulous apartment in a central location."

  Very close to shops and the ferry. It truly is wonderful. From the startlingly clean carpeted entrance to the immaculate and spotless, tastefully decorated apartment. All made extra special by meeting The owner Tracey who is extremely helpful, kind & welcoming. She goes above and beyond. We felt very much at home. And enjoyed our stay immensely. • "Easy to see why The Apartment has a Gold Standard award!"

  It is spotlessly clean, well furnished, and fittings etc are to a high standard. The cream tea, waiting for us on arrival, was most welcome after our journey. The property is ideally placed for access to the centre of Dartmouth and shops, which are only a few minutes' walk away. A really enjoyable holiday, and very much hope to return to The Apartment.

• "Very clean and tidy everything you needed was provided - an airing horse would be a bonus so you could dry clothes apart from that the apartment was spotless great that we had a parking permit provided also and a garden to sit out if needed."

  While gardens are at a premium with properties in Dartmouth that was a selling point for us but nowhere in the information about the property did I see that it was a steep climb to get to it my husband being slightly disabled couldn't make it up there which was very disapointing

  Many thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are surprised to hear that you had difficulty accessing the gardens as we have not had this issue in the past. It is also included in the property description as follows: To the rear, accessed via communal steps, is the enclosed rear garden. Arranged over two terraced levels. We contacted the owner regarding your feedback and she informed us that you had left a note to say that you had sat in the garden but found it too hot and suggested an umbrella might be useful so she too, was confused at the comment. We can only apologise if this was the case for you and do hope it did not impact on your holiday. Property Owner

• "Had a fantastic stay Tracey the owner has put a lot of love care and attention to detail in the property Tracey is such a lovely kind lady who made us feel very welcome we even had a cream tea waiting for us on arrival and she gave us some useful information about the area and good places to eat."

• "The Apartment is just stunning."

  Pristinely (surgically!) clean, very chic, bright, airy and fresh feeling. Everything that we needed was provided and then some. Really top quality kitchen appliances, and the little fire in the lounge fascinated me - you can change the colours of the coals and the flames, magical! Also, we can't speak highly enough of our host Tracey, she gave us such a warm welcome and she was on hand by phone or text if there was anything we needed to check on. Another thing important to mention is the location of the apartment - it's perfect. Far enough from the bustle to be calm and peaceful, yet the shops and bars are a 2 minute stroll away. Special recommendations - Bar 1620 for cocktails, The Dartmouth Arms for a sunday roast, The Crab and Bucket for drinks on the river embankment, Rosas for amazing tapas and if you're feeling flash The Seahorse for fine dining. Dartmouth is a wonderful town, and The Apartment is a perfect base to enjoy it from. We can't wait to return!

• "The apartment was amazing, bright and airy in a great location in Dartmouth The owner takes pride in thinking if everything her guests would possibly need and more ."

  The Apartment was spotless and like new, the added extra of a garden is also a bonus on a sunny day. Overall, a fantastic stay with lots to do in Dartmouth and the surrounding area, we would recommend booking Kayaking as an extra treat. Thank you Tracey and Steve we hope to return again one day.

• "This Apartment was so clean , modern kitchen beautiful decor had a real seaside feel , You had everything you needed, so comfortable and cosy, centre of town , parking was good , we were able to park outside as it wasn’t high season but they also provided a parking permit for the car park which was 5 minutes walk , Tracy the owner came to meet which was an added touch , lovely lady gave me her number so if we needed anything she was there to help ."

  Would recommend to family and friends in fact I already have .. value for money excellent apartment . Thanks for a lovely stay .. x

• "The Apartment is a well located first floor flat very convenient for the town and its facilities."

  The property is bright, very clean and well appointed. There is however no view of the river and there were builders at the back of the property for that early morning call. Fantastic shower in the ensuite (not so good in the other bathroom) and excellent kitchen equipment. Extraordinarily there is no coffee table.

• "We had a lovely week's stay in the apartment."

  The location is excellent, right in Dartmouth, but just back from any noisy bits. It is nicely set out, spotlessly clean, with a well equipped kitchen, and suited us really well with two young kids. Tracey was really helpful too. We'd definitely recommend!

• "The Apartment is exceptionally clean and well equipped."

  It is ideal for a couple. The town centre is less than 5 minutes walk away and the car park less than 10 minutes. It was good of Tracey to meet us and introduce her apartment to us. My only slight criticism is that the directions to The Apartment are out of date. The antiques shop is no longer there. One of us ended up guarding the car where we should not park while the other walked up and down the street looking for it. Otherwise a perfect location. We shall have no hesitation in re-booking.

• "The apartment owned by Tracey was first class, she has attention to detail that you can't fault, her apartment was spotless and she has thought of everything you could possibly need for your holiday, she also came and introduced herself and to ask if everything was ok and was there anything we needed, excellent service she clearly wants to make sure her guests have a great holiday, well done."

  Dartmouth of course is beautiful and being a few steps away from the town was great, easy pick up for the keys although we did struggle to actual find the apartment as the shop next door is no longer as described .

  The apartment itself is very modern with all top of the range appliances. It was spotlessly clean and so comfortable it has everything you need for your holiday. The apartment is in a great location just 2 mins walk into the centre of Dartmouth so made a great base for exploring the area. We recieved a warm welcome from Tracey the owner when we arrived and she had reserved us a car parking space which was really appreciated after a long drive Highly recommend staying at this property if you are visiting Dartmouth.

• "Your information on the apartment was poor."

  The actual equipment was outstanding,with washing machine, microwave, induction hob, fan, double oven, fridge/freezer all superb quality. Also, two TV`s and blue tooth technology. Your description was so lacking that we initially e.mailed your office to find if there was a microwave ! After two days, no reply we telephoned and a lady in Chester rang Dartmouth to find that there WAS a microwave.! We were in fact dealing with Coast and Country Cottages in Dartmouth, from whom we had no service. E.g. our journey was delayed, and we telephoned ahead to advise. Our call was diverted to their Salcombe office, who told us that as Dartmouth were open until 6pm, we would be OK to collect keys and parking permit. We arrived at 5.30pm to find the staff, with coats on waiting outside ! (They close at 5.30 !). We were rescued by the owner who was at the apartment, and welcomed us. All holiday makers need is accurate information and help on arrival. It did not happen !

We can only apologise that a response wasn’t forthcoming. Again we can only apologise for any miscommunication in regard to the office closing time, and we will be sure that this does not happen again going forward. As you mention you did come into contact with the staff as they were leaving the office and I understand that they provided you with the keys and permit and gave you directions to the apartment where the owner greeted you on arrival. • "Tracey the owner was so welcoming and friendly I felt I’d just arrived home!"

  The apartment is gorgeous and spotless clean and a credit to her. Location was great for me being so close to the town and riverside. I holidayed alone and felt very safe here. Tracey gave me her number to contact her should I need anything which was helpful. Had a great holiday and have booked with 2 girlfriends with Sykes for s holiday in September/October in Ireland.

• "Tracey keeps an immaculate holiday home and has really thought of every detail."

  We had a lovely stay over the Bank Holiday weekend and were so lucky to enjoy the great weather and outdoor area. We were gutted to have broken a wine glass and have such a messy little (19month old) guest with us but again the owner was so obliging and told us not to worry. We will be back (if they’ll have us!).
