The property

Woodwater is a true delight of a property, sitting above the River Dart in the estuarine village of Dittisham, amongst the rolling verdant hills of South Devon Countryside and riverside views. Woodwater offers superb accommodation for a group of up to twelve.

A reverse-level cottage providing guests with views across the village to the estuary beyond, its exterior and contemporary living inside, makes it a wonderful escape for those in pursuit of an idyllic location, with a wide range of amenities just a short trip away.

The bright and airy open-plan living space is spread out on the ground floor, with plenty of space for everyone to gather together around the dining table for a celebratory meal, or to split off into groups, with ample seating to relax in the sitting area around the solid fuel stove, or sit around one of the tables for a family evening of board games.

The kitchen area is a particular marvel, with a large island at its centre offering plenty of space for little helpers to get involved or for the adults of the group to gather and toast a wonderful holiday, it makes a wonderful social spot as well as hosting a range of high-quality appliances to assist you in all of your self-catering requirements.

Moving down to the ground-floor you can find the four bedrooms accompanied by a selection of bathrooms to prepare for your day; the two master bedrooms are made up as double rooms with super king-size beds and both have their own smart en-suite shower rooms, perfect for the adults and couples of the group.

The remaining two bedrooms are made up as a family room with two bunk beds, something the little ones will delight at and a further twin room, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for a variety of group needs.

Each of the bedrooms benefit from a stylish and contemporary interior, as well as ample storage space and access to the outdoor terrace areas.

On the lower-ground-floor you will find a convenient cloakroom, a wetroom and a bathroom, offering plenty of choice for you to begin your day.

Outside the wonder continues, where you will find a large lawned area where you can sit out with your loved ones in the summer months and dine alfresco, or pack up a picnic and head out into the local village of Dittisham for a stroll and admire the beauty of the River Dart.

The local area offers the amenities of a shop and pub and Greenway National Trust Property a few minutes away on passenger ferry from Dittisham.

Nearby Dartmouth boasts a wider range of attractions including its imposing castle, Bayard's Cove Fort and its enticing museum, or venture to Blackpool Sands and Bantham Beach for a day of sun soaking and sandcastle building.

Further afield you can find both the coastal towns of Paignton and Torquay, both offering excitement of all kinds in the form of a zoo, historic landmarks, golfing opportunities and much more at any time of year.
