  • "Lovely views, quiet location, nice fresh decor, lovely comfy modern recliner sofa, Sky tv, well equipped kitchen & safe off road parking."

However, we did find the foam mattress on the bed to be very saggy and uncomfortable.

In a good location for visiting places. Richard and Polly were really helpful hosts. The scones and flowers were a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend.

  • "For safety reasons a light switch at the top of the stairs would be recommended."

One small and positive note a cottage that provides a tooth brush holder well done they are very few and far between.

  • "Situated in a good location for visiting north Cornwall and handy for the shops and cafes of Barnstable and Bideford."

Lovely view from bedroom and sitting outside. Accommodation has everything you need and it was a nice surprise for me ( not my wife) to have sky sports. The only thing I missed was that you could not really walk to a pub or shop and needed to use the car.

  • "When we booked this and it just had 3 ticks I wasn't expecting too much from this property, however this was a great find."

It was such a beautiful, comfortable annex to the owner's home. It had everything we needed. The owners who live next door are so friendly and helpful, even giving us some homegrown green beans to take home. I highly recommend this lovely place. We took our bikes and could cycle, via a few steep hills,to the Tarka trail.
