The property

This charming cottage attached to the owners thatched homes promises a peaceful stay, in reaching distance of the coast, with everything you need to enjoy a seasonal break on the outskirts of the wonderful Exmouth.

Hosting a mix of bedrooms this retreat is ideal for families and friends.

On the ground floor you will arrive at a light and airy sitting room, where you can relax, morning or evening on the comfortable sofas.

With the selection of games and DVDs, you will feel right at home with your loved ones and all of the family can be kept entertained throughout the day.

The kitchen and dining area compliments the lounge well, boasting blues and creams, and a stylish arrangement which you can admire whilst enjoying those home-cooked meals on the bench style table.

On the first floor, you will find a king-size bed with a chest of drawers and bedside table, along with views overlooking the garden.

Two additional rooms come complete as a twin and a single.

The family bathroom is beautifully designed with a rainfall shower over the bath.

After getting ready for the day ahead, why not spend some time relaxing in the enclosed garden, or even head down into Exmouth, about a 20 minute walk from the cottage, for its local amenities, walking opportunities and sandy beaches.

Crealy theme park, Bicton Park botanical gardens, the Donkey Sanctuary at nearby Sidmouth and Woodbury Common are certainly worth a visit.

On the eastern bank of the estuary of the River Exe, Exmouth has everything required by the visitor for a relaxing break. A thriving coastal town with a nationally renowned bird sanctuary, close to miles of sandy beaches, superb coastal walking, with everything for the fisherman and sailor, close to Exeter and with much to do and see - this all contributes to the town’s attraction. In addition to messing about on boats, lazing on the beach or taking the ferry up the estuary or to Dawlish Warren nature reserve, there’s always Crealy Park theme park, Bicton Park stately home and gardens, the Donkey Sanctuary at nearby Sidmouth, Woodbury Common, the cathedral city of Exeter, the Sandy Bay World of Country Life and the all absorbing Jurassic Coast with its famous fossil deposits stretching eastwards into Dorset. In terms of visitor attractions and coastal lifestyle you won’t find much better than Exmouth.
