  • "Great location for town and beach."

Very clean and comfortable. Hamper awaiting with milk, wine, chocolate, crisps, biscuits etc Michael & Theresa extremely welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Especially with help with parking which can be difficult. And the 11 village permit is very useful

  • "This cottage is a lovely little find, very clean, tidy and well kept and Michael was extremely helpful."

The welcome hamper was a lovely touch as well. The cottage had everything you could think of and was very comfortable. Also only a 10 minute walk to the beach. We parked our car on the Friday and didn't move it for the whole week. Thank you

The quality of the furniture and the kitchen items were top-notch, as was the bed and the shower room. Michael was a great host and told us where all the car parks were that we could use free, without even feeding in our registration number - and not just in Exmouth.

The cottage is really well equipped with lots of little extras that made for a very comfortable stay. The dog towels were especially welcome as we had forgotten to bring one! The beach and facilities are a short stroll away so wonderful location. Thank you again Michael for being so generous around the parking.

Extremely clean and dog friendly too. Comfy beds and a great shower to relax after a coastal walk. The owner, Michael, is so welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Our stay at Ty Glas was considerably enhanced by his and Teresa‘s attention to detail and nice little touches that made our stay special. Will definitely return, and can recommend without hesitation.

  • "Our stay at Ty Glas was absolutely perfect."

Michael was super helpful and we couldn’t fault a thing. Attention to detail was excellent. We stayed Christmas/ New Year 21/22 so there was a Christmas tree and fairy lights. Candles lit and soft music playing when we arrived plus a lovely hamper. It’s location was really excellent, only a few minutes walk into town to the shops, bars and restaurants. We didn’t use our car at all, we either walked, caught the bus or the train. We would not hesitate to recommend Ty Glas, definitely a little gem!

  • "The cottage is just perfect and Michel couldn't do enough for us."

It was such a lovely surprise to firstly have Michael reserving a parking space for us outside and then to walk in and see a fully lit and decorated Christmas tree. It was like staying in someone's home. There was also a much appreciated welcome hamper and some milk in the fridge. The location of the cottage is perfect, the cutest street in the conservation area and just 5 minutes to town and 10 to the beach. We worked whilst there and the wi-fi was good too. Thank you. We hope to return.

  • "This is an amazing property which Michael had updated/modernised superbly."

Because of the limited parking we only had to ring him when we were leaving or arriving and he would come round in a vehicle so that we had a returning parking space' So good we booked another week there for next year before we left, something that we have never done before!!!

The cottage has been beautifully renovated, is very comfortable and very well equipped (it even had a proper coffee maker). The owner was incredibly helpful during our stay and nothing was too much trouble for him. We would love to go back sometime soon.

  • "Ty Glas is a beautifully presented property, spotlessly clean and the welcome pack was more than generous."

Michael was a great host and parking was no problem as he reserved our parking space outside the cottage with his own car (thank you for that). The cottage had plenty of leaflets on things to do and a welcome manual which contained all the information clearly about the cottage ie heating thermostat etc. We had a wonderful weeks stay with early morning walks along the beach with the dog (allowed during the winter months). The town centre is literally 5 mins walk and the train station 10 mins. We actually only used our car the once as the train was so convenient and the journey was along the coast so their were views you would never see from a car. We had such a wonderfully relaxing stay that we will definitely be back.

It is in a quiet street in the centre of town, which gives easy access to a wide range of amenities including the beach, train station, lots of excellent places to eat etc. so you can either enjoy everything close by or explore further afield. Michael was very helpful about the parking and provided an extensive and much appreciated welcome hamper and other essentials to get our holiday off to a great start. Perfect, thank you!

The house was spotless and so comfortable Mike was particularly helpful for me as I find walking difficulties sometimes tend to make things harder to enjoy especially as my dog Katie loves the beach but we had no problems parking at the property Thanks so much to Mike and Teresa.

Arrived to a saved parking space which was an extra benefit as our car was too long for the onsite space at the property. Everything was clean, inviting and comfortable. Fridge was full with welcome essentials (that included drinks) and then a hamper of goodies and vouchers. Cottage is beautiful with an inviting outside garden/interior and a fully equipped kitchen. Any queries/questions the host is available to help.

The cottage was brilliantly presented and thought out and had everything we could have wanted. The cottage was in an excellent location for a quick walk into town, a run along the seafront and dog walking along the estuary. The cycle paths in Exmouth and around were a huge bonus and we managed some fantastic bike rides. The outside garden area which was very secure was perfect for us to leave our electric bikes in safely overnight. The weather was not great but we still managed to pack lots in and had a brilliant time.
