The property

Nestled just north of Frogmore Creek, which is teeming with wildlife and ripples its way into the Salcombe-Kingsbridge Estuary, is Water Edge.

This well-appointed bungalow is situated in the stunning South Hams region of South Devon, with plenty of nearby attractions to inspire many tastes.

You can find a plethora of walking and watersports, then return with your family and friends to this modern base overlooking the babbling creek.

Use the sitting area for spending some quality down time with your loved ones, where you can curl up on the sofas together, pull down the projector screen and enjoy a film via the Blu-ray player - so don't forget to bring the popcorn!

During the warmer months, you can throw open the double French doors to the conservatory and enjoy a balmy afternoon with a delicious feast filling the dining table.

You can look out across Frogmore Creek and spot all types of wildlife as you tuck into a scrumptious plate of food and discuss your plans for the day ahead.

Head up to Kingsbridge, which is just a few miles away and offers many more amenities, while Salcome offers two pretty beaches, watersports on the estuary and the National Trust's Overbeck's hosting beautiful, subtropical gardens to explore.

Walking from Frogmore to West Charleton along the water’s edge is a great way to see the creek before turning inland and heading north through West Charleton. This pretty village is well-known for its excellent bakery, traditional pub, beautiful creek and perhaps most of all, it’s family-focused annual regatta in August.
