    The House was very comfortable, and we had all the Kitchen utensils we needed.

    The House was very comfortable, and we had all the Kitchen utensils we needed. We did not use the cooker as we found that it was greasy. The television would not work on Sky, kept coming up with the message, check card account. Other than the above we found the property very comfortable.

The property

In the heart of Galmpton, on a quiet residential road is Whiteways, a lovely detached family house.

Inside is light, bright and thoroughly inviting with pretty fabrics and attractive wallcoverings.

Relax in comfy chairs in the sitting room or sun rooms, or cook dinner for the family in the smart kitchen on the fabulous electric range-style oven.

On the first floor are three bedrooms – two king-size doubles, one with an en suite shower-room, and a family room with a double and single bed.

And the outside space is equally appealing, encircling the house, the garden with lawn, consists of a decked terrace with table, chairs and a barbecue, a gravelled area with fire pit for alfresco dining and a small pond.

The village of Galmpton with lovely old cottages/houses and some modern ones, is in an ideal location.

Close to the River Dart and 2 miles from Brixham there's plenty to see and do close by, including sandy beaches, the Coast Path, a good golf course and Agatha Christie’s former home, Greenway (National Trust, lovely spring gardens).

Paignton’s excellent zoo, and water park are both just a short drive away.
