  • "1: External cobwebs everywhere, crumbs and sticky table surface before our use."

2: Windows (see 1) probably have not been cleaned for 2 years 3: Technology adequate but could be better with usb sockets 4: TV's and reception can only receive Wales, what's that all about, as aerial is pointing in the opposite direction to every other lodge??? 5: Why have a CD/VHS player? Bit old hat, and we are coming up to our 70's! 6: Everything else worked very well and a very comfy accommodation. 7. Though, lounge TV awful to tune (and see 4), the other bedroom did not have batteries in the remote and proved very difficult to tune. 8. Basically, for the price, not impressed with the overall accommodation, although the general site was very impressive. We would visit here again, but not with this client! Needs updating . . .

  • "Lovely location and lodge."

Lodge was a bit dated but this was reflected in the price.

  • "Nice Lodge and park, very spacious and comfortable."

Cleanliness could be alot better, hairs found in the bath, windows were filthy on the outside and i even found a broken up dog treat underneath the mattress protector in the second bedroom. Really disappointed that i had to do some cleaning before settling in for my holiday especially after a four hour drive.

  • "My openly issue is the tv picture from Wales breaking up."

However as the Wi-Fi is good I watched on my iPad

  • "The Lodge itself was lovely - very comfortable and clean."

The only thing that could have been improved really is some of the kitchen equipment as there were not really any kitchen utensils (wooden spoon, spatula etc)

  • "The location is good, and Watermouth Park is a lovely family destination."

The lodge is fine, a little tired, especially the shower room, but could really do with more cutlery and glassware. There was no rotary drier, an important item for a family beach holiday.

  • "The lodge was lovely with all facilities needed."

The resort had all you needed with extremely friendly staff who could not do enough for you. Lovely restaurant and bar. This is not a criticism but there is very little phone network. This was not an issue as family were not on the phones all the time. There is WI-FI.

  • "I contacted Sykes to challenge the check in / check out time ( 6pm & 9am) as this appeared to be in contradiction to that of Park Resorts."

All I received back was a generic reply, which was extremely poor as the renter pays Sykes their £109 booking fee. I contacted Watermouth lodges directly and they stated check in was 5pm. The Lodge inside was clean and tidy, but the outside windows were filthy as were the door frames and decking. I have visited Watermouth Lodges several times and these minor issues are not particular to this lodge, the resort overall lacks polish and is a little tired. We had a great holiday, and are returning in a couple of months, which we have booked via Watermouth Lodges.

  • "Lodge was great all round with only minor issues probably due to early season after lockdown."

Great location for seeing this beautiful region and plenty of walks nearby.

  • "Towels appeared to be brand new, bedding also very good."

Base of en suite shower could do with some new mastic, and drained very slowly. However excellent situation and extremely good value for money, would definitely recommend.
