Situated in a sheltered valley, the small hamlet of Goveton combines the very best elements of the South Hams, a peaceful haven just two miles from the popular market town of Kingsbridge with its excellent shops, good pubs/restaurants and waterfront.
In Goveton, the Buckland Court estate comprises 19th century listed stone barns, now converted into smart cottages, grouped around a superbly manicured courtyard.
Rosemary Cottage is beautiful; great care has been taken to provide an excellent finish throughout.
Here you'll find original exposed roof beams, stripped wooden floors and many thoughtful, stylish touches.
Enter through the large, bright entrance hall which leads to an excellent kitchen/dining room and an opulant lounge.
On the first floor, three smart bedrooms sit beneath eaves, all with beamed and partly sloping ceilings and skylight windows which make the rooms light and airy.
The elegant master double has a king-sized bed, there is a second good sized double room and finally a twin bedded room.
They share a family bathroom with double shower cubicle.
At the rear you have your own neat lawned garden with table and chairs to enjoy.
Well placed for exploring the glorious South Devon Coast, Rosemary Cottage is a fantastic home from home.

The busy little town of Kingsbridge lies at the head of a marine estuary in the attractive South Hams area of south Devon. During the summer season there are river excursions to Salcombe to see the abundant wildlife in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), which also forms part of the South Devon Heritage Coast. Visitors can take a walk along the Kingsbridge Quay, wander through the narrow alleys off Fore Street or visit the Shambles, an Elizabethan market arcade. Around the South Hams area there are picturesque ports, such as Dartmouth and Salcombe, together with sandy beaches at Blackpool Sands near Stoke Fleming and the two sandy beaches at Thurlestone. There are a host of small attractive villages in South Hams offering interesting pubs, local farm produce shops and pretty rows of cottages, plus further afield the waterfront city of Plymouth is a vibrant centre housing the National Marine Aquarium, historic Barbican Quay and plenty of night life, including theatres, restaurants and bars.
