The property

Buckland Court is a sophisticated courtyard development originally built in the 1860's as the home farm for the Buckland-Tout Saints Estate and is now known for its friendly community and security.

Goveton is a peaceful hamlet within two miles of Kingsbridge and all its facilities, and close also to the beautiful South Devon coastline with its spectacular cliffs, coves and beaches and beautiful walks over National Trust owned headlands.

Also, readily accessible are the Salcombe and Dart Estuaries with their excellent sailing and boating facilities and golf courses at Thurlestone, Bigbury and Dartmouth. This delightfully presented cottage, offering spacious holiday accommodation over two levels.

Relax in the spacious and comfortable lounge with Inglenook fireplace with gas coal-effect stove on a slate hearth.

Dine al fresco in the courtyard garden enclosed by an attractive stone wall and with table and chairs. The entrance leads into a spacious hallway off which is a dining area with oak dining table and chairs.

The well equipped bespoke kitchen has granite work surfaces and a glazed door which leads out to the pretty courtyard garden and terrace.

There is a comfortable lounge with three seater leather sofa, leather chair, occasional furniture, inglenook fireplace with gas coal-effect stove on a slate hearth, TV with DVD and CD players.

The two double bedrooms (on the first floor) are furnished with bespoke oak furniture, both en suite.

To the rear is a good sized courtyard garden with bench seat, enclosed by an attractive stone wall and with table and chairs.

Set in a peaceful rural location only two miles from the town of Kingsbridge and eight miles from the nautical town of Salcombe, Goveton is a pretty, quaint village with plenty of green rolling hills and characterful charm.
