"The holiday property was excellent, clean and tidy."
Parking was excellent, clear instructions of where to park was given.
However the details of the journey to the cottages was not easy to find, the description of the route was a little confusing.

"Definitely a place for those who want peace and quiet."
Comfortable and clean facilities. Could have done with a few more ammenities i.e. glasses, cutlery etc. There was only two of us and a dog, I think it is a bit tight for four adults. The garden area is not ideal for a big dog, if you didn't want to go anywhere. But there are some fabulous walking areas nearby. The site supervisor was always available for any issues and was great at checking on details to us before and during our stay. Would have no hesitation recommending property. However could be a bit difficult getting to the property without a substantial car, in order to manage the track leading to the property . Overall a great stay.

"Martin was wonderful and went beyond duty when our sat nav failed us."
He escorted us from Hartland. The bird feeders were just beautiful which he kept topped up along with the numerous flower tubs which he watered. Always around if needed which made us feel safe in a remote area. Just nothing not to like. Perfect

"The owner has obviously done his research on covid19 making this cottage feel clean and safe."
He has provided lots of information online and put a lot of effort into making it as safe as possible. It was thoroughly enjoyable and wouldn’t hesitate in going back or recommending it to anyone else. Lovely views from the property and some lovely walking round and about.

"The cottage had most things we needed bar an iron (but I am being picky)."
It is located in a quiet spot with great views and we found it an idle location for exploring Devon and Cornwall.
I would certainly recommend this as a great place to stay.

"Beautiful site/location."
Owners made us most welcome and we received complimentary wine, scones, home made jam, clotted cream and chocs! And our dogs had a complimentary treat each too! Bird feeder by door filled with peanuts so we could watch the several varieties of birds come to feed. Very clean, very well organised. Highly recommended.

"The cottage is in a very tranquil setting, the gardens are well tended and the birdlife is varied and entertaining, encouraged by well placed seed holders optimising viewing ."
Whilst the owners farm is adjacent you are not aware of them unless you cross paths on an early morning walk. The countryside and coast are exquisite and are excellent for walking ,biking or touring.
It is very unspoilt, not over commercialised, and there is a sense of a real community not just visitors. There are good pubs with costs to suit all pockets.

"Great location and great cottage, Martin the host is fantastic , everything is thought of, milk tea coffee , wine , chocolate, and scones all waiting for you, my only issue is this didn’t have a enclosed garden, with having the dogs is the main thing I searched for , this had no reflection on the the cottage it’s self, more Sykes for showing it in the search, there is seating and garden area but not enclosed , this is the same for the other cottages on this farm."

Beautiful surroundings with lots of wildlife, very peaceful, yet only a stones throw from lots of things to do and our children and dog was worn out with all the adventurous walks and trips to the many nearby beaches we went on. Can’t wait to visit again!

A beautiful clean cottage, beds spotless, bathroom immaculate and extremely comfortable. We found the cottage down a country lane surrounded by fields, pheasants in the garden, just wonderful.
