  • “Situated in a pleasant and quite village the Coach House provided the home away we needed for the holiday.”

The only recommended improvements would be an extra fridge or wine fridge (perhaps in the side room ) to take the pressure of the only small fridge with built in freezer section, as this was a hindrance. A couple of loungers on the decking would have added to the experience, as the iron table and chairs does not enable you to fully relax. Coombe Martin was great for sea kayaking or paddle boarding, and exploring the rock pools and silver mine at low tide. The walks along the coastal paths ...

About the property

The Coach House is a stunning stone-fronted cottage, set in the picture-perfect village of Berrynarbor, North Devon.

A spacious holiday home with chic interiors and open-plan living, this is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway with friends.

As you pull up to the property after a scenic drive, you will immediately feel a sense of sophistication.

Step inside the contemporary hallway and place your bags down as you take a seat in one of the stylish armchairs and enjoy a cup of tea by the fire and take in the views of the garden from the imposing patio doors.

Head through to the open-plan living space where you can turn on the TV and indulge in conversations with friends on the sofas, whilst the chef of the group prepares a scrumptious breakfast to be enjoyed at the dining table by all.

At the back of the living space, you can find a well-thought out downstairs cloakroom with WC and hand basin.

Wander out through patio doors and out onto the decking at any time of the year to breathe in the fresh Devon air or in the warmer months, dine alfresco as you bask in the sunshine.

Before you tear yourself away from the cottage to explore the local area, head up the steep stairs to the first floor and unpack your belongings in one of the three beautifully decorated bedrooms.

A clean and bright twin bedroom boasting breath-taking views of the nearby country fields from the secured glass doors, provides the perfect setting to relax and unwind at the end of an exciting day.

Across the way, discover an attractive bathroom featuring a luxurious free-standing bath and walk-in shower, where you can take your time to get ready in the mornings and feel your best self.

In the second bedroom, two twin beds can be zip-linked to create a king-size bed for couples.

Those staying in the master bedroom will not only be charmed by the gorgeous interiors and countryside views, but will also benefit from the airy en-suite bathroom with a roomy walk-in shower, hand basin and WC.

Leave the comfort of the cottage and head to one of the many beaches in Ilfracombe for a leisurely walk along the sea.

Stop off at Ilfracombe Harbour where you can depart on a coastal cruise to see the Exmoor Cliffs or tuck in to some tasty food at one of the many local restaurants.

For a sit-down meal complete with outstanding scenery, take a trip to the Pier Brewery Tap; or for something more casual, experience mouth-watering fish and chips at one of the harbours takeaways.

Be sure to stay at The Coach House for your next group getaway to the seaside.
