The property

Resting in a tranquil seaside setting, 1 Victoria Cottages is a snug terraced cottage in the idyllic location of Lynton, Devon.

With open-plan living and two bedrooms sleeping three guests, the property invites a small family or group to enjoy the sights and splendour of the north Devon coast.

Park outside the property to unload your bags before leaving your vehicle in a nearby public car park.

Enter into a light and airy open-plan living space with pretty décor and essential amenities for a comfortable self-catering stay; start the woodburning stove during colder months whilst you rustle up your favourite meal in the kitchen area, with dining seating for three, before curling up on the sofa to plan your holiday adventures or watch a film on the TV.

A day at the beach calls for a hot shower in the ground-floor shower room to rinse off the sand, before wrapping yourself in a toasty towel fresh off the heated towel rail.

Two quaint bedrooms lie upstairs offering a peaceful setting to unwind and relax after a fun-filled day; a single bed features sloped ceilings and a Velux window, whilst the double offers views across the rooftops of Lynton.

This pet-friendly cottage also welcomes one small well-behaved dog, with an enclosed rear decking area to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air, or enjoy a cold glass of wine on the outdoor seating.

1 Victoria Cottages is close to Lynton's fantastic amenities, including charming coffee shops, pubs and shops to stock up on the essentials, as well as attractions found in Gunn's Gallery, a picturesque harbour and Blacklands Beach for seaside strolls and picnics.

You'll also be within the fabulous Exmoor National Park renowned for dark skies for stargazing and breath-taking scenery; wildlife lovers can spot majestic red deer, the rare Exmoor pony and a variety of birdlife and rare insects.

Jump in the car and head west to Ilfracombe for a historic harbour, picturesque pastel coloured cottages and the dramatic clifftop scenery.

The area is scattered with sandy beaches and coves to explore, before heading into the bustling centre for an abundance of eateries, independent shops and cultural relics and curiosities at Ilfracombe Museum.

Minehead lies east of 1 Victoria Cottages on the edge of Exmoor National Park and the starting point for the spectacular South West Coast Path; pack a picnic and head to Blenheim Gardens with free entertainment on offer during the summer months, wander through the busy town for quirky shops and cafés, or head to the long, family-friendly sandy beach for day of sea and sunshine.

For the best of both splendid towns and diverse landscapes to wander in peace, choose 1 Victoria Cottages as your home-from-home along Devon's coast.
