  • "21 Cross Street is a lovely house, the only small issue we had with cleanliness was some of the mugs hadn't been washed up properly, apart from that the house was spotless."

This was our 1st short-term property rental and whilst lovely, having to clean the house top to bottom and get out by 10am was a rush.

  • "An excellent, clean, tidy and efficient property with all facilities in tip top order."

Adequate parking beside the cottage and occasional street parking for a second vehicle plus huge car park in the same street. Shops just 3 minutes walk. We really enjoyed our stay.

  • "Very good location, cottage is very well equipped including bluetooth sound speaker great to play music in background."

Has comfortable room for up to 6 adults and bunks for 2 children. Parking space a bonus as payment for parking elsewhere can add up. A great place in lovely area enjoyed our stay and would use again if in the area

  • "Pros: Great location near amenities."

Spacious property, very comfortable beds, clean, good shower in main bathroom. Kitchen quite well equipped. Cons: Kitchen, downstairs toilet and cupboard in second bedroom smelt badly of damp. Could not open patio door in second bedroom as it is loose in frame so could not freshen bedroom or go onto flat roof where washing line located. Parking at side of house difficult to back onto because of parked cars in street and also because it is a narrow shared drive. Nowhere to put toiletries in ensuite or main bathroom. No shaving mirror. Plug in kitchen sink faulty so could not fill sink with water to wash up. Gate in back garden locked so no way out that way. No spare front door key so if one person left house with key and locked front door, other person trapped in house. Loft bedroom very hot and ceiling low so did not use. Settees very uncomfortable.

  • "Lovely cottage in a beautiful location."

One thing that would be helpful, please invest in a clothes airer and a laundry basket. Whilst it was fab having the tumble dryer, some items of clothing cannot be tumble dried. Unfortunately, we had a few rainy days so we were not able to peg out.

  • "We had a wonderful stay in the cottage for a long weekend."

It was immaculately clean, the owners have provided everything you need for a home from home break. The extra touches of tea/coffee/biscuits some kindling and logs to start off the log burner. A cupboard full of games and puzzles for extra entertainment. The central location is great as it is an easy walk to shops, pub, railway and footpaths. We hope to return in the spring!!
