  • "Overall we really enjoyed our stay in the cottage."

It was clean and tidy, and very well located for what we wanted to do. Being right next to The Crown was definitely an added bonus because it is a great pub which does really nice food. The video library is quite limited but it does include a DVD about Lynton and Lynmouth and the surrounding area which is worth a look. Minor issues which didn't bother us but might bother other people. The house is on a steep hill and access definitely could be a problem for someone with any mobility issues. The kitchen is very small which didn't bother us because we ate out all the time we were there but it could be a challenge for anyone planning to self-cater. Overall, we would definitely go back.

  • "We found the Seascape apartment suited our needs fully."

I was pleased to see a fridge with a decent sized freezer box as I prepare meals to take with me to pop into the freezer to cover days when I don't want to go out to a restaurant. There is everything you need for your stay in the kitchen area. The lounge is comfy with 2 X 2 seater sofas and a small dining table overlooking the view to the sea. The bed is HUGE and very comfy. There is a very steep climb up to the apartment front door which may not suit those with mobility issues. The petrol crisis was on whilst we were staying at Seascape so to ensure we had enough petrol to get back home we didn't use our car at all. We spent the weeks planning walks from the front door and what beautiful walks we found, very tough at points but so rewarding with the stunning views. We definitely will return , Jen the owner was really helpful and checked in with us to ensure all was well. Seascape is a lovely getaway apartment in a fabulous part of Devon with a pub a few footsteps away and loads of restaurants to suit all tastes.
