  • "Excellent cosy cottage with all facilities and close to both Paignton and Torquay; walked and used local buses - good service."

Beach 10 mins walk. Lots of good local eateries. Off road parking another benefit. Internet reception could be patchy in cottage. No visitors book with info and to leave favourable comments! Would heartily recommend.

  • "Great little bungalow situated five minutes walk from Preston Sands & even less to the shops."

Easy to access off road parking & the property was warm, clean & had everything you require for a lovely holiday. I can highly recommend this property if you are visiting the Torbay area.

  • "On arrival we did not know if both parking spaces were for the property so we parked over to the left hand side, later on in the week we had guests visit us that used the right hand side space and a day after saw a car parked there as we were off out, so perhaps there needs to be a welcome sheet explaining parking, and segregating and putting out waste, etc."

,as parking on the road looks difficult and recycling is different to where I live. The property was lovely and clean and the milk, biscuits and other provisions was a lovely and thoughtful touch, the property had a modern kitchen and bathroom and a rustic living room and ample bed space. The stairs to the bedroom area could do with a little more night lighting as it was very dark at night, the beds were nice and clean and had fresh linen, the pillows were a little too soft for me but you can’t please everyone :) Couldn’t connect to the internet and our provider didn’t have much reception, but internet is an added bonus and not a given. With regards to location it is well positioned for nearby shops (including a very nice cafe and fish & chip shop and for accessing Preston beach, however it is a good walk into Paignton, but mostly flat with a little incline so most people wouldn’t struggle to walk, and there is a bus stop nearby for getting around. I would recommend the property and would definitely consider going again!!

Everything you need, very homely. Good local facilities; shops, cafe and the beach all walking distance. Will definitely come again.

Tesco Extra and Sainsburys Local both within a 10 minute walk. Property was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Good value for money compared to a lot of the more expensive properties in the area.

Spotless condition and very comfortable. Nearby buses very convenient for travelling up and down the coast. The owners are very welcoming. Nothing to fault, but if tall watch your head in parts the bedroom!

  • "We found the listing photography a little confusing -- Sea Peeps is actually a ground floor property accessed behind the shown stairs."

The property is comfortable, well equipped and very well appointed throughout, although the ceiling height in the bedroom is deceptively in places. Very convenient for Preston town, the beach 10mins walk away and on a very frequent bus route. The inclusion of a Guest information pack would be useful for such things as nearest medical services in the case of illness and a shedule as to leaving routines would clarify such things as strip the bed linen or not. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

  • "Excellent property in great position for Paignton and also Torquay and Brixham."

Lovely conservatory and patio, cosy lounge, large fitted kitchen, bathroom with lovely large shower and attic bedroom with double bed and two single beds under the eaves. Lots of surprises in the kitchen with some tea, coffee, biscuits and milk in the fridge. Only thing missing if you have young children is maybe the need for a stairgate at the top of the stairs.

  • "Had a lovely week at Sea Peeps."

Only disappointment was the internet was very erratic, which could be a problem to anyone who relies on streaming for their devices, as this wasn't possible. Overall, lovely stay, very clean, good location for the beach.

Ticked all the boxes for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  • "Very nice stay, good location and reasonably quiet."

Parked my car on the drive, brought a torbay bus pass and explored the whole area by bus. Bus stops just down the road. The property was well equipped (apart from no dvd), clean and bright. Beds were good, but as the bedroom is in the roof I had to be careful not to bang my head. Overall good quality and good value

  • "A couple of things spring to mind regarding this property."

. There were no instructions as to whether we should strip the bed (and indeed what to do with sheets etc if we did). We did strip it and put all the bedding and used towels in the laundry basket, which we left in the kitchen, but others may feel they don't need to do so? No instructions to tell us where the key box was on arrival, nor where the door was for the property (there are steps leading up as well as two doors on the ground floor) so it was a case of nosing around to find the keys. Property itself was warm and cosy, and would happily stay there again, and would now know where the keys are and where we were going to get in! :)

The property was very enjoyable to stay in and the facilities were great, however the wifi did not work at all over our stay at the property. This issue was attempted to be fixed but unfortunately it didn’t get resolved. I would recommend coming to this property, however if you need wifi connection or signal that could be an issue for most people but for a quick getaway this places is ideal!

  • "Clean property with just about everything you need provided."

Parking available, secure outdoor spaces too, house is quite close to seafront etc you can see over the houses to the sea from the bedroom. A little clarity as to where the access door and key safe are reached from would be good, as from the pictures I wasn't certain but was OK on the day. I didn't find a toaster but there is the cooker grill. A dvd player would be a nice touch for families. There is WiFi but reaching the signal from the main house was just about manageable on the laptop but not from our phones. Not quite strong enough signal. Be aware that you have to come downstairs from the bedroom if you need the bathroom in the night. The stairs open up into the bedroom, so may need a travel staircase if you have little ones. There was no carpet on the stairs but maybe that is in progress as stairs woodwork looked new but needed finishing. Everything else was good though and these things didn't really impact our stay. Looked mostly recently refurbished and decorated to good standard. Lovely kitchen and bathroom. Clearly a lot of effort has gone in to providing a lovely place and things needed to make for a good stay. Really enjoyed our stay.
