  • "Jasper’s Corner is a beautiful house kitted out in thoughtful vintage 1960s/70s style."

It’s in a perfect, quiet location, ideal for those who want peace and quiet or enjoy walking the many beautiful walks nearby. Hope Cove is, of course a wonderful location and there are plenty of excellent places to eat and drink so Jasper’s is a real find. Owner, Kerry, is brilliant - very friendly and responsive and the house has everything you could need for a wonderful break. Very highly recommended.

Thankyou for your lovely comments- I’m delighted you had a lovely holiday. Property Owner

  • "A lovely property in a great place, it was like stepping back into grandma’s house, homely and familia."

Everything needed was there, even the owners texted to make sure all was good, which is very thoughtful. My only problem was with the lack of fence around the garden, and having to put our dog on the lead to go into the garden, I was worried about wandering into the neighbours garden, no boundaries at all. And equally could they wander into our space. Overall a lovely place to stay, and would recommend.

New for Spring 2023 we have installed a very secure, generous, fenced doggy exercise area whilst leaving the main garden open to maintain the gorgeous countryside views and feeling of rural remoteness. Our furry Canine friends can now play, run and do their business safely whilst residents chill either outdoors or inside… Property Owner

About the location

HOPE COVE

Salcombe 4.6 miles; Kingsbridge 5.1 miles

The picturesque and unspoiled village of Hope Cove lies in the sheltered curve of Bigbury Bay on Devon’s south coast. A choice destination for families, the two beaches offering soft sand and rock pools for sandcastle building and fishing for small crabs. The town remains a fishing village where crabs and lobsters are still landed, however it was once used by smugglers. Many ships have perished around the coast and the wrecks that lie beneath the waves make it a popular spot for divers. Above the beach there are a number of pubs and restaurants. The coastal footpath can be joined from here and leads towards Bigbury-on-sea in one direction and the coastal resort of Salcombe in the other.
