The property

The delightful cottage has its own gated entrance, car parking and pretty enclosed private garden with an illuminated, decked area and seating, where you can relax with a refreshing drink, whilst planning your next day’s activities in fabulous surroundings.

The door leads inside to a useful hall area where coats and shoes can be stored, and off to one side is the newly fitted modern bathroom with pea shaped bath, perfect for a shower if preferred.

Explore the numerous walks and cycling routes - the owners welcome guests to enjoy the 45-minute circular walk on their private land to discover the lake set in unspoilt Devon countryside.

There is a fire pit for you to enjoy a barbecue before strolling back between the fields with their friendly pigs, calves, sheep and chickens, which on arrangement can be hand fed with the owners.

You really are spoilt for choice, with so much to see and do; Tiverton, Woolacombe and Barnstable are all an easy drive from this charming cottage.

The nearby village of Rackenford has a local thatched pub where you will receive a warm welcome from the locals.

The River Exe offers salmon fishing when in season, or maybe enjoy experiencing the views from horseback.

With plenty of National Trust properties in the area, some fabulous villages and farm shops, this stunning property is perfect for enjoying a real taste of rural Devon.
