  • "We loved the apartment."

It was comfortable and very clean. The bed linen had a fresh lemon scent. The attention to detail showed that the owners cared about our stay. The welcome bag was a wonderful touch and much appreciated. The garden was beautifully lit at night. One of us captured a photo early in the morning of a bird sitting on the table, zoomed in to get a close up, only to realise he wasn't flying away anytime soon... he was one of your lovely ornaments! I was grateful for the blackout blinds and curtains, so I could wake up in my own time. Thank you for a lovely holiday. We would recommend this apartment unreservedly.

  • "A beautifully clean and well presented property."

Stunning interior and very comfy beds. Lovely outside seating areas. There is a bit of road noise and small children need close supervision in the garden but that is fine for us. Would be lovely if the commercial property opposite. could prune a couple of trees for a better sea view!

It’s fabulous. Those who built its unique design and then put a tremendous amount of love and careful thought into its interior design really have created a wonderful property. Well done for showing such love.

  • "Beautifully decorated and very comfortable!"

At the top of a hill from the beach so a great work out walking back up. Yes it is next to a road, but that didn't bother us at all. All in all a great place to stay!

  • "Positive: Beautiful, well equipped house, modern interior."

Living room and kitchen upstairs, so the sea was visible in the distance. Nice outdoor space / garden which we couldn't use due to weather. Negative: Not a quiet location as house is right next to main road leading into Lyme Regis. So a lot of car traffic and noise way into the night, specially at the weekend and rush hour times. Opposite, on other side of road was a commercial timber company and a medical centre, so not really a holiday impression. Pillows very high and firm, no other choice (had fortunately my own with me). Waste collection confusing, no separation of recycle, glass etc.and normal waste. Should all go in same bag. So we took our recycle waste with us back home. Would we stay there again? Sorry to say, no

Thank you for your feedback. The property is on a commercial waste collection scheme where all rubbish is placed into one bin and is then sorted at the recycling plant. I do appreciate that this is a different method in comparison to a normal residental scheme where rubbish has to be separated into different containers. The Lyme Bay Team Property Owner
