  • "We have just returned from our holiday at the Old Cider Cellar and we have had a fantastic 2 week break."

The cottage is well kitted out with everything you would need (except for an iron and ironing board but we managed without these). The mattress in the en suite bedroom was a bit soft for us but you can’t please all of the people all of the time and even this didn’t spoil the holiday. Our dog absolutely loved the enclosed garden and Mum enjoyed sitting in the conservatory looking at the views. Thank you for our wonderful stay and we would definitely recommend this place.

  • "The property was excellent in terms of location, welcome, facilities and comfort."

Only criticism would be the very soft mattress of the second double bed, so we used the twin room instead. Of course, if you like a soft mattress, then perfect!!

  • "Lovely cottage in a quiet but not too rural setting."

Very secure garden for our dog. Fully equipped for our needs and a great welcome basket, lovely comfortable beds. Looking forward to staying again.

  • "We had a lovely, peaceful stay at The Old Cider Cellar, which was a safe, well-equipped and tranquil place for our party of three plus one infant and one dog."

The hosts were very helpful and friendly, and we would definitely recommend this property as being accurately listed, well located, equipped and maintained plus good value.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay."

The house was lovely and perfect for what we needed, with well stocked kitchen and very nice and clean, the advert given was and accurate description and the house felt very big. Little boy loved seeing the horses just opposite coming in and out of their stables. A shame the grass was so long in the garden though when we arrived as it would have been nice to sit out on the grass for our son to play in the suddenly warm weather.

  • "This is a lovely little cottage on a working farm."

The views across the fields are just beautiful and with the fruit trees in blossom in the garden and the sound of birds, it was so peaceful and restful. We were there to see family nearby and it was a perfect home from home. The place was well equipped, comfy sofas and beds and whilst clearly a lovely old cottage, had all that we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were also kind and friendly which made us feel very welcome.

Quiet location but roads are good. A lot of thought has gone into creating the homely atmosphere.
