The dining room can comfortably seat the whole group, where you can enjoy home-cooked meals together beside the beautiful feature fireplace and a step down takes you into the fully-equipped kitchen, with all the appliances you could wish for during a self-catering holiday, with additional appliances located in the garden shed.
The back door leads onto an enclosed courtyard garden, ideal for sitting out with a morning coffee or a relaxing glass of wine in the evening, whilst admiring the rolling countryside views.
Heading back into the property and taking the stairs up to the first floor, you will find three spacious and comfortable bedrooms, with a king-size with zip/link which can be transformed into a twin, along with a double and a 4' double offering distant seas views, all served by a family bathroom with shower over bath and separate toilet.
The centre of Ilfracombe is just a short walk away, where you'll be spoilt for choice by the selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, cafés and takeaways on offer, as well as an aquarium, museum, theatre, a choice of stunning beaches and an idyllic heritage harbour & quay.
From here, catch a boat over to Lundy Island, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and England's first Marine Conservation Zone, due to its unique range of flora and fauna, or simply enjoy some fishing or a wildlife cruise.
Walkers will enjoy a gentle promenade walk around Capstone Hill, as well as the rugged coastal path, providing spectacular views of the coastline, while nearby Exmoor National Park offers tranquil moorland hills and pretty river valleys.
To the east of Ilfracombe, you will discover the unique villages of Lynton and Lynmouth with its clifftop railway, while to the west you will find the charming Clovelly and Hartland, and the 3-mile stretch of golden sand at Woolacombe Bay is a short drive away, offering fabulous surfing and watersports opportunities.The principle town of Barnstaple is a short drive away at the lowest crossing point of the River Taw, with an extensive history in the wool trade which dates back to the 14th century, plus numerous day out opportunities at its golf course, trampoline park and museum.
