“Another fantastic stay at 4 Granville point.”

We just love it and are now up to visit 20. Can't ask for a better location or apartment. The extra touches in the apartment are just fantastic. Already can't wait to be back in May 2019. Note for karen/mark: The frying pans need replacing. The light above the hob is not working. It would be brilliant to have a black out blind in bedroom 2 like those put up in bedroom 1. The lights from the hotel opposite are very bright on dark evenings and early morning sun leads to an early wake up as it's very light. Many thanks for a fab holiday....! Debbie

Dear Debbie Thank you for your continued support. Your family’s 20th visit to Apartment 4 is certainly something and we hope you feel it is home from home. You will be pleased to hear that we received a gold award from Sykes this year in recognition of the quality of the apartment which we were thrilled about. Thank you also for the heads up regarding the couple of items that need replacing. Although we try our best to keep everything in top condition, this year has been particularly busy for us with bookings. The frying pans and hob light are now replaced and I will look into the possibility of fixing a black out blind in the twin bedroom. With kind regards Karen - Sykes owner relations

The property

Positioned in the highly desirable Granville Point development, with majestic views across the sea, harbour and town of Ilfracombe.

Apartment 4 occupies an elevated ground floor corner position, with three magnificent balconies each overlooking differing coastal landscapes, just one of the reasons you will never tire of the views from this fabulous apartment whatever the time of year you visit.

Once the magnificent ballroom of the iconic Victorian Hotel that previously occupied the site of this landmark building, the triple aspect, open plan living area is uniquely spacious with high ceilings and windows affording an ever changing visit at every angle.

The impeccable interior is fashionably furnished with a large corner settee, a central dining area and sleek high quality kitchen and the apartment is kitted out with all mod cons including Nespresso machine and a Bose sound system.

Two sophisticated bedrooms, each with their own private balconies come with deep dreamy pocket sprung mattresses dressed in hotel quality linen guaranteed to induce a blissful sleep, the master with en-suite shower room and there is also a separate family bathroom.

Choose from three separate balconies each furnished with seating and tables, whether for morning coffee, afternoon siestas or evening aperitifs, the setting is sublime.

Stroll down Granville Hill and at the base you will find the famous Tunnels Beaches, tunneled out of the cliff to reveal two beautiful sandy coves and now part of a very popular wedding venue.

The pretty harbour of Ilfracombe along with a fine selection of shops, restaurants and bars are all within easy reach on foot and some of the best beaches in the land are on your doorstep including Croyde, Woolacombe and Putsborough, all ideal for families and popular surfing destinations.

A trip to this area would be incomplete without visiting the picturesque villages of Lynton and Lynmouth, often referred to as Devon’s Little Switzerland where you can take a ride on the funicular cliff railway.

Flanked by high cliffs of Exmoor, you will find no better position to soak up the magical views of this picture-perfect spot, than right at the top, where you can enjoy a slice of cake washed down by a frothy coffee!

For those who enjoy life’s little luxuries, whether you are seeking a special stay or a perfect coastal retreat whatever the time of year, Apartment 4 at Granville Point will not disappoint.
