The property is very well equipped and is comfortable and is very well appointed for small groups and families. The owners were very helpful when we contacted them to resolve a couple of minor issues with the TV and extra towels needed. The following are some issues that we had with the location which are beyond anything that the owners could about rectify. - The cottage is located up a very steep narrow road which may be difficult for some people with mobility issues. - The neighbourhood can become very noisy with loud music being played and loud arguments from some of the near properties. - Although the property is centrally located the nearest pubs are not very nice and you need to visit the harbour to find decent pubs and restaurants.

The property

A cosy terraced cottage set in a superb location, just off the main street in the town centre, in the heart of Ilfracombe.

This character Illfracombe cottage comes complete with private parking and a sunny courtyard garden.

There is a comfortable sitting room with a woodburner, and a kitchen with ample space for dining.

With two bedrooms to sleep up to four people, this is an ideal cottage in Ilfracombe for smaller groups and families.

Ilfracombe's heritage harbour is a short stroll away where local boats are available for trips and fishing; for a special day out, there is a ferry to Lundy Island in the summer season.

Near the harbour you can find a host of welcoming pubs and restaurants, Damien Hirst's 'Verity' statue, and the quirky looking Landmark Theatre.

There are fabulous walks along the coastal path to the cove of Rapparee, and within a short drive of this Ilfracombe cottage you will find the coast is rich in sandy beaches such as those of Saunton Sands, Croyde and Woolacombe.

Take a cream tea at one of the many gardens or National Trust properties, explore the unspoilt Exmoor, or take a ride on the Victorian cliff railway at Lynton and Lynmouth.
