A rear enclosed garden is a welcome feature in the warmer months, providing somewhere to sit out in the sun and dine alfresco on the decking.

Head upstairs to find a bunk room with two standard singles, ideal for children or friends sharing, as well as two double bedrooms, with one benefitting from an en-suite shower room, whilst the others are served by the family bathroom complete with a bath and overhead shower.

Head into Ilminster to explore the attractive and peaceful streets where an excellent variety of local shops, restaurants and pubs provide everything you need during your stay.

Delight in some retail therapy in independent shops such as Dyers, a traditional drapers, or head to the Meeting House Arts Centre to view the latest additions and indulge in an afternoon treat in the café.

Ilminster's 15th century Minster is worth visiting for the history and architecture, while the Warehouse Theatre is perfect for a rainy day to catch the latest show.

Take a day trip to the town of Taunton for walks along the idyllic Bridgwater & Taunton Canal and the self-guided Taunton Heritage Trail, take a scenic ride on the West Somerset Railway through beautiful countryside, and visit the Museum of Somerset to learn more about this lovely county.
