It was so lovely and peaceful and inside the lodge we had everything we needed. Pity the weather was not to kind to us but we still were out every day as it is very close to many beautiful holiday spots. Do not miss the Sunday lunch at The New Inn which is very close to you but do book early. PS do not leave your tooth brush turned on all day as i am sure Naomi will let you know what happened. Many Thanks again for a wonderful week.......

  • "Outstanding !"

Extremely well presented accommodation, spotlessly clean and with everything you would need for a warm and comfortable stay. In a very quiet village and a farm shop very close but without any noise at all. Excellent location with good road links to explore everything the area has to offer. Naomi came to greet us within an hour of our arrival to answer any questions we may have had, very friendly but unobtrusive and made us very welcome and told us to contact her if we needed to know anything regarding the area. Will definitely return to Cherry Tree Lodge at earliest opportunity.

The lodge is beautifully done, well maintained and clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Naomi welcomed us when we arrived and provided a really nice welcome pack. The location is great too for exploring the Jurassic coast and south Devon, Dorset and Somerset. We thought the nearby road might be a problem, but it is far enough away for you not to notice it. Owners friendly and helpful and welcoming. Location quite, rural, but not too far from main roads and larger town. Spacious parking adjacent to the rental. Spotlessly clean. Comfy sofa and bed. We’ll set-out kitchen that is a kitchen diner/ living room style, so your not segregated when cooking. Price very realistic. Not that anything needs changing, but if I could make it perfect, I’d add a washing machine, a decent footstool as the puff was too low. Rugs by the bed, so that’s it’s nicer on your feet to get out of bed. A kitchen towel would have been useful and more than 4 plates etc that would have saved me putting the dishwasher on everyday. But honestly I’d happily return with it exactly the same.
