The property

This semi-detached cottage is tucked away into a rural location, only a short distance from the traditional coastal town of Barnstaple, with countryside views bordering the exterior.

Whether you envision a peaceful getaway for two, or a holiday with the family, Rose Cottage will uplift your spirits with its warm and friendly ambience.

Be welcomed by the open-plan living area which features summery sofas, and a dining table set up for four people.

There is an almost seaside theme tied into the layout, with refreshing wall art taking you to the shores, intertwined with countryside views welcomed in from the windows.

Two steps lead down to the contemporary kitchen and its well-matched colour scheme, also comprising of a breakfast bar where you can relax with a warm cup of tea and appreciate the beautiful hillside once more.

As the night draws in, one of the two bedrooms will become your own characterful haven to relax, each neutrally styled in cool blue and white tones, with ample oak storage, overhead ceiling beams and skylight windows.

After a long day, sit back with a book of your choice, escaping into your own world as natural light falls in from above.

Lastly, Rose Cottage brings you a serene family bathroom where you will be impressed by the corner bath, and wet room style shower, complete to that of a hotel standard.

If you can steer yourself away from the interior, why not spend an hour or two enjoying the large communal garden area, and raised patio area with furniture.

There is also a stream on-site, with sightings of chicken and ducks as they roam across the land.

Barnstaple is a busy traditional Devon coastal town with a pannier market, shops, restaurants and bars, along with two fabulous sandy beaches.

Close by is the coastal village of Clovelly, not to be missed.

On the remarkable North Devon coastline between Westward Ho! and Croyde, whilst being only a short drive from the Exmoor National Park, Rose Cottage is the perfect choice for a picture-postcard holiday.
