  • "The pod was lovely."

We had a really good time. It was clean and we had everything we needed (apart from a plug for the sink to wash up, totally minor issue!) There was coffee, tea and milk along with other treats which was really thoughtful. The view from the balcony is stunning. The only problem I had personally is my dog kept pottering off up the road because there isn't a gate. But that's my fault really for having a dog who doesn't listen to me.

  • "Just got back from a long weekend and had such a lovely time."

Perfect location for exploring lots of beautiful places (the information in the folder was great for giving us ideas) really clean lodge with everything we could need and beautiful views. We were a bit worried how it would work with our 3 year old but the sofa-bed was great, we could even keep an eye on him and enjoy the sunset on the decking at the same time. We all had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend :)

  • "Amazing location, the pod was absolutely beautiful."

Enjoyed every minute of our stay. Lots of lovely walks and lots of days out that will be cherished forever. Will definitely be coming back.

  • "We were impressed with the lovely views and the high standard of the accommodation especially the superb wet room that was obviously designed by those who fully understand what is required."

My husband is an above knee amputee who doesn’t use a wheel chair, but has similar needs and we do find suitable accessible accommodation very hard to find. However, we did encounter a couple of problems. Getting up out of the very low settee was difficult for us both and because of the lack of space to the left side of the bed, I found getting in and out a real struggle.

The view is amazing and the covered balcony means you can enjoy it even if the weather isn’t so good.

  • "Where do I begin."

... the pod was compact and had everything to hand. It was in a good location and places like Salcombe, Torquay and Plymouth weren't that far away. We had beautiful weather and was able to sit on the veranda watching the sun go down. This week was for us to relax and take time out and that was certainly accomplished. Would I recommend this as a place to visit.....absolutely!.

  • "This was our second visit to Knap Mill Pod, and we'll definitely be back again."

Its the perfect getaway, we have been shielding for a year due to ill health and we feel so safe here, it has everything you need in beautiful surroundings, we've watched cattle, pheasants, ducks and even a heron and a fox, all from the decking of the pod. The owners are lovely too. Recommend 100%

  • "Knapp Mill Pod is the perfect holiday get-away, it has everything you need, is cosy and warm, and above all, in the present uncertain climate, it is safe."

We loved our week there, so much so, that we've booked it again for April next year, and can't wait to go back again. Highly recommended. Thank you

  • "It would have been nicer if there was a proper oven and not just a microwave which made it difficult to cook a proper meal."

Also a bigger fridge. It seemed pointless have a couple of wine racks with a small fridge on top. Bottles of wine could be stored on the floor under the sink make space for a bigger fridge. Other than that it was a very comfortable accommodation.

  • "We really enjoyed staying in Pod, the view was excellent, the weather not so good."

The problem we had was with the television, the owners came up once and resolved but it happened again so we did not contact them again, also the over bed light ran out of charge so feel mains lights would be better. Otherwise we liked the Pod
