  • "A lovely quiet place."

The house was clean, well presented and the perfect place for us to have a week away. We liked the little touches like milk in the fridge, a cream tea and fresh flowers in the dining room. The kitchen is well equipped and great for when we wanted an evening meal at home. The only downside was that the week slipped by far too quickly and we would have liked to stay longer

  • "We absolutely love it!"

Very well laid out and very clean. Loved the large picture window in the kitchen which had a breakfast bar underneath where we spent most evening looking out on to a wonderful woodland garden.

  • "Recently refurbished holiday let."

Overall impression was ok, I liked the layout of the property, nice open plan kitchen diner. It lacked a little refinement, e.g maybe a second coat of paint here and there. Seemed like it had been rushed, paint on aspects of the couch. Kitchen needed a bit more a clean I bought a spay and did it myself. Having said all of that it was fairly comfortable with mostly modern decor. Location was ok for Illfracombe, it’s a bit of a walk to the high street, I would suggest you have a car if you don’t like walking. It’s about 25 minute plus walk to the harbour. On street parking was ok, but it is a busy street for parking. Suggestions: needs blinds in the kitchen and bathroom, second coat of paint in the hall stairs, lamps for the living room and second bedroom, tin opener for the kitchen which overall was well stocked. Owner was very responsive when contacted. Also a welcome pack would also be useful.
