  • "Property close to Axminister and main road network allowing easy access to Devon, Dorset and Somerset."

Approx 3 hours from West Midlands. Ample parking with EV Charging availability. Dog run area easily accessible and large enough for all size dogs. Property 1 of 3 in complex. Slight road noise from main road but not loud or disturbing as road above property level. Supermarket available in Axminster as well as other shopping, approx five to ten minutes by car. Railway station access in Axminster. Excellent holiday property. Well recommended.

  • "Property was lovely and super clean."

Location to forests for dog walks in great only 10/15mins drive. Is slightly noisy when outside due to the A35 but we new that on booking. Our dog was fine (11months old) with this but if your dog is anxious to noise then might not be the best location. House temperature was super hot and difficult to manage but was provided fans. Just went during an unexpected heat wave so not the owners fault. Field opposite to the cottage was very useful as our dog likes to wee on grass and gave her the opportunity to go off lead in an enclosed area and burn off the zoomys. Love the fact of recycling and poo bins on site. Overall for us was a good stop off point for our holiday.

  • "Great location for exploring the East Devon and the Jurassic coast."

A35 traffic is close but not an issue. Try Brankscombe if you are fit but don’t take kids there. It’s too lovely for kids to appreciate. Take kids to Bridport or West Bay.

  • "This was an enjoyable stay."

The property is in an excellent location for getting to the necessary places nearby. It was clean, tidy and organised. Things to improve would be to remove the orange carpets. They detract from the overall look of the Property. The beds were not very comfortable, so a mattress upgrade would be good. Finally, as stated, it was super hot due to the metal roof and fine weather. We didn't wish to bother the host to adjust it. Would be good to offer customer control. Overall, lovely hosts and great place to stay.

  • "This is a lovely clean, quiet and well equipped property."

It has everything one could ask for. It is well situated for all the local Devon and Dorset coastal resorts. The owners are friendly and helpful and respect your privacy. My wife and I highly recommend this property.

  • "Very clean and comfortable accommodation in a great location for visiting lots of places."

We'll equipped, comfy beds and great shower. Little dog exercise field and enclosed courtyard area a real bonus! The only thing I would say is would be useful to have info on heating controls. Cottage was lovely and warm but actually a little too toasty at times and couldn't work out how to turn it down. Opening the windows not really an option at night as a lot of noise from A35.

I'm so pleased to hear that you had a wonderful stay at Field View. The owner has put some very thoughtful touches into the properties, including a dog walking field. Thank you for your feedback about the heating controls, we will certainly look into providing some information about the heating system as it is controlled via a HIVE. • "Really pleasant stay on a short notice booking."

Great location for exploring Devon. Booked as seemed really dog friendly and this was our young Labradors first long trip to the coast. All was as described and small paddock was particular useful for the dog. Would recommend this property and location to other dog owners
