  • "First impressions were not good."

Had to get through two gates both barely holding themselves together then into the garden which needs a good tidy up (last autumn’s leaves still on the ground). Once inside the cottage it was clearly obvious it hadn’t been cleaned although cleaners arrived a bit later and changed bed linen and cleaned bathrooms etc. Cottage is comfy enough but needs a deep clean, dust and cobwebs everywhere. A rustic cottage is one thing, a dirty cottage is another. Facilities passable but could have done with some more teaspoons (only one provided) and some decent coat hangers. Also, as a pets welcome cottage a water bowl would have been useful.

  • "Really enjoyable stay at Prospect Cottage , thank you."

Very clean cottage and everything there we needed. Did take us a while to find it but that was fun. Perfect location for our short visit to Lynmouth and although no parking the car park was really close by.

  • "We had a wonderful restful time staying at this truly lovely 'dog friendly' rustic cottage."

It gave us comfort and space & I would love to come back again. No complaints at all - just could have done with advice on recommended parking and how to find the cottage!
