  • "An excellent apartment."

The instructions on how to get there were very good, the only oddity is that Sykes call it "Ashridge" but the only name as you approach is "Lynbridge House".

  • "Excellent accommodation with very comfortable beds and well appointed facilities."

Location ideal for what we wanted, though driveway needed some careful manoeuvring! Would certainly recommend it as an ideal base for walking, we are considering another holiday next year.

  • "Great accommodation for a summer break."

The apartment is in a great location for enjoying local walks. The walks from here down to Lynmouth, and separately across to the valley of rocks are both lovely. And the last stretch back to Ashridge along Lynway is in the shade which is welcome on very sunny days. The apartment is also cooler in the evenings and we were able to enjoy cooking our own meals. As there were light summer evenings during our stay we also found to walk down to Lynton and back comfortable so that we could eat out one evening. The apartment is a good place to relax in the evening with wonderful views. It’s also very relaxing in the mornings too (there are thoughtfully chosen window blinds which help in the summer mornings) and I imagine that anyone staying there in the autumn will benefit from the warmth of the sun that shines in through the front windows.

  • "The property was in a very good location for leaving the car parked safely for the whole time there and the walks for the daytime were perfect and bars and restaurants close by for evenings!"

The property itself has beautiful views you never tire of. A most enjoyable stay.
