  • "Lovely base to explore a great corner of Devon."

Village had two very welcoming pubs and shop and lots of great places to eat further afield. House was great, everything we needed but if I was to be picky the TV (only one) wasn't set up to be able to watch normal channels and the fire and heating were turned off which on one day we could have done with.

  • "It was all good except there were no Sun Beds."

Also when down stairs you could hear when people were walking above especially in the down stairs bedroom.

  • "The house is absolutely fabulous as is the location."

Facilities were ultra modern and absolutely spot on. What we found though was the settee in the lounge was only comfortable for under 18s and no good for more mature folk, too big and couldn’t sit up, you have to lounge at uncomfortable angles. There was no terrestrial tv, so again have to rely on Apps which is ok if you are tech savvy. Only I tv for 8 people so when it rains all week is a bit restricting. We chose this property because of its downstairs en-suite bedroom, as my wife is disabled. Although the room was lovely, the mattress was very soft (the younger people in our party had no complaints with theirs) and the shower had no handrails, so harder to use safely. Considering the capacity of the property, more outside furniture than the 4 seats around the outside table would not go amiss, as would a place to site a bbq. The views from upstairs and the Juliette balconies are absolutely stunning and certainly have the Wow factor. Would certainly recommend this property, given the caveats above.

  • "WOW! Best holiday accommodation we’ve ever had."

The ground floor accommodation was great, in some houses it can feel like an afterthought, not here. Juliet balconies in upstairs rooms with comfy chairs are fab. My Hearing Dog (so allowed upstairs) spent all the time I was in the immaculate en-suite lying in the window watching the world go by. I have serious kitchen envy

  • "Beautiful property, extremely well equipped, immaculately clean and comfortable."

The kitchen is amazing to cook in with two double ovens, and a very efficient induction hob! The large table to gather, eat and play games is perfect. We shopped in Kingsbridge but there is a COOP very near the house which is very handy. We were blessed with lots of sunshine so enjoyed the private garden with the table, chairs and bench. The neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet which made for a very relaxing holiday. There is a parking spot next to the house and plenty of on street parking outside if you need more - which is fantastic as we didn't use the car with so many magnificent walks from the house. Walking from the house down a valley you can access the coast path. We walked into Salcombe, taking in the stunning scenery and enjoyed the bus ride home! We also walked the coast in the other direction calling in on beautiful Soar Mill and Hope Cove. It was a fabulous week and the best holiday home we have ever stayed in. We can't wait to return!
