    “This property felt like a new rental so hopefully this constructive feedback will help improve it for future occupants.”

    The key-holder was very difficult to open (previous occupants mentioned this also in the guest book). When we finally got inside the property there was no tea/coffee/milk to welcome us which would have been a friendly gesture. The kitchen is under-equipped for a family of 4 self-catering. Only 4 of each item (so washing-up constantly). No measuring jugs, wooden spoons, spatulas, etc. Very small fridge which meant shopping frequently. On a positive note, access to the garage was useful for ...

The house was lovely and clean so if you are looking for budget accommodation in Salcombe then I would recommend it, but don’t have high expectations.

There is a pretty grassed play area directly outside the property for the children to run around.

Be sure to explore the local village of Malborough, where you will find all the essentials of a shop, two pubs, alongside fantastic walking routes and a plethora of nature waiting to be discovered.

Nearby Salcombe makes a wonderful day trip for time soaking in the sun on the golden sands of its beach.

Enjoy fresh seafood in one of the beach restaurants.

Visit nearby Hope Cove for a truly tranquil spot, or explore the bustling market town of Kingsbridge.
