“On arrival owner showed us round the cottage was asked if we were going to use the second bedroom and when our answer was no was asked if we could shut the door and not use it !”

! Not the first thing you ask guests when you purchase a two bedroom cottage stay, no extra towels for our second bedroom either !! Also worst thing about the cottage was the musty smell had candles airfresher opened all windows and place stunk of it ( since being home everything out of that cottage our clothes etc stink musty ) shower is tiny and not powerful !! Bed very small and when stripping the bed which we were asked to do on leaving the property I noticed a huge stain on duvet which I ...

Bed very small and when stripping the bed which we were asked to do on leaving the property I noticed a huge stain on duvet which I was disgusted at its covid and giving us stained duvets that is not acceptable. The swimming pool : on arrival on the Saturday after a very long travel down we were disappointed to be told we couldn’t use the pool as it had been cleaned and that we may be able to use the pool late Sunday in the booklet that you get in the cottage you are told the pool is shut on a Sunday for cleaning plus the heated pool was defiantly not heated ( we were told by owner it’s a solar panelled heated pool) sorry the pool is freezing to the point where you can literally turn blue !! All in all would not stay here again owners need to go on a customer care course ! Cleanliness not up to par, cottage stinks and pool not open heat etc not acceptable !!
