The property

Surrounded by trees that hug the hillside of this picturesque valley, two miles from the unspoiled village of Slapton on Devon’s south coast, you will find a small privately owned group of stylish Scandinavian lodges that sit alongside the watermill at Gara Mill.

Treetops as its name might suggest is set on the sloping hillside amid the tree canopy, its leafy position offering a real sense of treehouse living!

A perfect destination for a family holiday, one to recharge and connect with the real outdoors without compromising on comfort or space.

With its own private hot tub, this scandi-chic lodge is sure to appeal with an open plan interior, stylish modern furnishings, oak floors and full length windows that make the most of the incredible views.

The dining area is positioned next to patio doors, and a well equipped kitchen offers plenty of space to prepare meals and suppers that can be enjoyed on the decked balcony outside.

Three uncluttered bedrooms are bright and comfortable, the master with en-suite shower room and wonderful treetop views across the valley.

Step outside to the timber deck patio for family alfresco dining and barbecues, or take a dip in your very own hot tub whilst you enjoy views across the valley.

Take a rug and a hamper and enjoy a picnic in the meadow at the top of the hill, where you may meet the resident goats, or a barbecue around the Fire Pit.

Find time for the game of Pooh sticks from the bridge over the stream, or roll up your trousers for a paddle.

For days on the beach, Slapton is on your doorstep just a couple of miles away, or head along the coast a little way to the sheltered soft sands at Blackpool Sands where watersport hire and tuition is available.

A little further, the maritime port of Dartmouth is well worth a visit and Woodlands Theme Park will be enjoyed by little ones.

For a family holiday in sublime surroundings Treetops Lodge is a great choice.
