Very lovely and modern very spacious for four adults and 3 dogs and a baby but one thing missing was a gate to the stairs so the dogs couldn’t go up but otherwise we had a great time there thank you

We had a great stay at The Old Ambulance House. Very comfortable and well equipped in a perfect and private location. Had everything you need including very comfy beds, and the bed linen smelt so fresh! Lovely welcome gifts too. Highly recommend

Very peaceful, wonderful big garden surrounded by fields. If you want to eat at the local pub The George book 2 weeks in advance.
We really enjoyed our stay, I'm sorry we rushed off and forgot to write in the visitor book.

It was very spacious and very clean. It was great to be away in a remote spot. We arrived to a nice bottle of bubbly. Very kind and thoughtful or the owners. I would happily recommend this accommodation.

"We had a lovely stay at this property in a beautiful part of the country."
Lots to do in the area for all the family.
Having the downstairs bedroom and bathroom was ideal for my mum.
The property is done to a high standard but there are a few things that could make it more comfortable. The sofa area seated no more than 4, at a push. Definitely another sofa needed to make it comfortable for a party of 6. The fridge also wasn’t large enough to hold food for 6 people.
The upstairs was spacious. It might be useful to have one of the king-sized beds as a zip-lock so that it can be made into 2 singles if required.
The outside space was ideal for our dogs and children - lovely big garden. Would benefit from some nice outside seating as, again, this would make it more comfortable for a party of 6.
Just a couple of small tweaks would make this property exceptional.

Very clean, well situated and everything you need for a comfortable holiday. All things have been considered and it is a lovely, quirky place. A lot of time and thought has gone into restoring this old Ambulance house to make it enjoyable, comfy and homely.

"An amazing property with all the extras."
Perfect for those looking to get away from it all. The property is set back from road noise and has plenty of parking with a great enclosed garden for dogs or children to roam around and play.
The accommodation is of a very high standard and provides everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

"Wonderful facility."
Bags of space and very comfortable for four. Bedrooms large and tidy. Very quiet location weekdays (We were not there at weekend). Good parking. Saw deer and rabbits in field.
Could do with more coathangers in bedrooms and lounge chairs if six are guests. A fabulous cottage to exceptionally high standard. Pub .6 mile away.

"Very pleased with the property."
Comfortable, clean and well situated for us to have access to all the things we wanted to do and places we wanted to go. The property was very well suited for the two of us and our two dogs.
Overall we were very pleased with both the cottage and with Sykes for their great communication and the efficient way they managed the booking.

"The old Ambulance House was very nice with plenty of space inside and out."
Good sized rooms and comfortable beds. Nice touch having King sized beds. Settee not big enough to seat full occupancy. Shower upstairs on the small side. Fridge very small for six people. Ideally a full sized mirror needed somewhere. Need iron and ironing board. Pointless having recycling waste when not enough bins and bags provided.
Minor improvements would make this property 1st class.

Property was very clean and comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. Having recently been renovated everything is new and nicely decorated. As advertised, the property is in a secluded location which is great. Did walk to the local pub a couple of times but the road is quite busy and not a particularly pleasant experience.

"The Old Ambulance House is stunning, the fixtures and fittings are modern but homely."
It is very spacious, clean, light and airy and ideally placed for exploring. We had a wonderful weekend, feel thoroughly relaxed, our dogs particularly enjoyed exploring the garden and bunny watching whilst we sat on the patio. We highly recommend a stay here, we can’t wait to come back.
