I’m not just saying this, but the whole lodge was incredibly clean - in every room, and to a very high standard from top to bottom. We honestly felt at home. The garden area to the lodge was huge and absolutely perfect for the kids to run around and tire themselves out, whilst in a safe environment. We loved our stay here and we can’t recommend it enough. • "Wonderful accommodation!"

It was obvious that a lot of thought had gone into the design and decoration. The views from the living area are stunning - we ate in most nights because we could sit at the table overlooking the huge garden and the fields. Once in the garden the views of the surrounding area are fantastic. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bedrooms and en-suites very spacious and being brand new, everything is in tip-top condition. The owners couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful - we really couldn’t have asked for more. Devon Cycle hire is only a few minutes drive down the road and has direct access onto The Granite Way which is perfect for family cycling. The Dartmoor Inn in Lydford (in this year’s Michelin Guide) is less than 15 minutes drive away - the food is amazing. I can’t recommend this accommodation enough. We loved it as even when the weather wasn’t so good we were happy to lounge around on the sofas reading and looking at the views.
