Could ask for better response. Great Welcome Gift which was appreachated. There was an excellent book full of information about house and local area. The house was very comfortable, clean and there was plenty of space. Would highly recommend this house to anyone.

  • "Toad Hall is a fabulous home from home place to stay in the lovely village of Newton Ferrers and also close to Noss Mayo village which is also a great place to have a wander around and visit the local pubs."

We would highly recommend staying here. The house itself is spacious, well furnished and clean. The only point I would make is that the courtyard could do with a clean up to clear weeds etc, however apart from that, the courtyard is a lovely place to sit and relax in the sunshine. Great for dogs too as it is totally secure.

A beautiful property in a lovely little village - scenery is amazing, walks along the harbour are lovely, and everybody is incredibly friendly. The cottage had everything you could possibly need. Really clean and tidy. Loads of great information about local amenities, walks, etc in their folder. Bottle of fizz, dishwasher tablets and coffee pods in the welcome pack! We had an amazing week and would definitely go back there again in a heartbeat.

The property is spacious, very comfortable and well equipped. It is set in a quiet residential part of the village about a 10 minute walk from the estuary and the pub and shops. We had lovely weather and sitting in the garden or the sunroom was a perfect way to while away a few hours in the afternoon. We hope to return very soon.

  • "Fantastic house, in a great location."

We did lots of walking from the house including the coastal path via Noss Mayo. The house was modern, clean and well equipped and the fire was a lovely surprise as there are no photos of it on the website. I needed to work from the house for a couple of days and although there is a desk in the 4th bedroom upstairs there is no WiFi. Apart from that it was a perfect break.

The house is modern and furnished very well. The three bathrooms made it easy for three generations of family and we all enjoyed the space and open plan living area. The location was ideal with a short walk into the village where there were local shops and a pub. We all enjoyed it so much we have already booked for next year.

Especially good cooking facilities with plenty of utensils and efficient heating for those cooler nights. Very relaxing lounge area and comfortable bed. The cottage is listed as dog friendly which gave us some concern as we are not dog lovers but everything was clean and odour free which is not always the case so a special thank you to the cleaning team. Very specious plenty of seating and a cool wood burner in the open plan living area. We where blessed with the weather and recommend the 20min walk on a night to the other side of the estuary to enjoy food and drinks at the two pubs rather than taking out the car.
