“Visiting family for a Birthday”Overall, we were so pleased with this lovely, huge old house. ...Overall, we were so pleased with this lovely, huge old house. There is a well stocked kitchen, all mod cons - admittedly our stay was short and we didn't use all cooking sources to any large extent, but we were able to have our family visit for a lunchtime meet up! The heating kicked in and it was lovely and warm and cosy, the decor is simple and there were some lovely local prints/canvases - all helped to give the house a welcome feeling. If visiting for any length of time, would definitely look this property up again.. Parking was a tad tricky if you drive a bigger vehicle, that was the downside for us, but presumably there is parking on the roadside if needs be.
