    It is an exceptionally well designed and well equipped holiday home. It is upside down so the living space is upstairs and compact bedrooms on the ground floor with a view towards the beach over the gold course through a gap between some other properties. Lovely sunset when sunny. This would be an ideal holiday let for a couple with two children who don't mind sharing a room and where the children want to body board on the beach in Westward Ho! most days. Lovely sunset when sunny. This would be an ideal holiday let for a couple with two children who don't mind sharing a room and where the children want to body board on the beach in Westward Ho! most days. The beach is very long. If you are using the property as a nice place to stay and a base to do other stuff in Devon it is still good. We went cycling the on Tarka trail, walking, went to the RHS gardens and across Exmoor. However, even for the summer following Covid lockdowns when all prices were jacked up over the summer period it was very pricey (top end of anything comparable) so in terms of value possibly only a 3 which is why we gave the property a 4 not a 5. That said we had a great time, chips on the seafront etc

Here, you will find a twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room and the master suite, boasting a plush king-size bedroom with its own en-suite shower room and the French-doors provide access to the rear patio, where you can savour your morning coffee and linger in the sunshine before heading out for the day.

Return to the hallway and take the stairs to the first floor to discover the spacious open-plan living space, where patio doors frame the views straight out to sea and can be opened up to allow a refreshing breeze to filter in as you make the most of the contemporary furnishings and quality fixtures.

To the rear of the space is the sleek kitchen, where laminate flooring lies beneath stunning units and range of top-quality appliances to assist you in cooking up family-favourite dishes, which can be enjoyed at the formal dining table, perfect for enjoying the company of your loved ones.

Completing the interior of the room is the plush seating arrangement, inviting you to kick back and relax in front of the TV or choose to spend a balmy evening upon the balcony area, where you can savour a glass of wine whilst catching the final glimpses of sunshine and the West-facing sea views make for some amazing sunsets over Lundy Island.

Just a short stroll away from the property is Westward Ho!’s plethora of amenities, including tasty fish and chip shops, waterside restaurants including Thai, Italian and traditional cuisine for a special treat and a plethora of shops for picking up any essentials and gifts to take back home to your friends and family.

Your days can be spent at the glorious Blue Flag Beach boasting watersporting opportunities or meander the Northam Burrows Country Park, home to England's oldest golf course - The Royal North Devon Golf Club - where you can practice your swing whilst enjoying concessionary guest green fees and the traditional club house.

Those with children can look forward to an afternoon at The BIG Sheep theme park, offering an opportunity to meet the farm animals and enjoy the superb entertainment of rides, a micro craft ale brewery and gin distillery, this is certainly an attraction for all ages.

Venture further afield to explore the town of Barnstaple, home to Barnstaple Pannier Market, a Norman castle, multitude of museums and the beautiful Queen Anne's Walk, a great way to brush up on the local history.
