To the right is the simply furnished sitting dinning room with large fireplace housing a practical coal effect but gas woodburner, by the window is a Victorian pine dining table and chairs and opposite a cosy settee.
Through into the large Victorian bedroom with original fire place and mantle, large super king bed dressing table and nursing chair simply decorated in the style and era of the property.
It's a cosy yet spacious property layed out on one level ,with views to the verdant garden deeply laden with foliage and local scrubs ,kept as wild as possible yet comfortable to enjoy a sunny evening meal alfresco with a cool glass of wine.
In the surrounding larger main garden is a cedar wood Canadian hot tub open for use 24hours a day (by prior arrangement with owner)
situated under an old oak tree on a wooden balcony taking in the best of the local views it adds just a little more spice to your visit.

The granite way cycle path and bike hire is just next door with amazing pubs on route such as the highwayman and the castle inn at Lydford with the well know Lydford gorge, Okehampton railway station with its freshly made breakfast lunch and afternoon tea room is on the doorstep.
Okehampton is set at the very heart of Devon central to both north and south costs, just an hour or so to the Eden project , 15 miles from roadford lake with a number of water sports and central to a large and diverse amount of a high quality national trust and heritage attractions.
Most importantly Okehampton with its castle is a doorway to Dartmoor itself with its rugged tors, beautiful stone villages and unspoiled pubs and historic land marks.
